Gotta be careful with Crazy Glue- it's kinda like Anti-Seize inasmuch as it tends to get all over everything sometimes.
Most hobby shops carry these, which work okay:

but the price will surprise you... around $20 last time I got any.
Paint will depend on what you're building.
Tamiya has good stuff for dioramas, weathering, chassis, interiors and stuff like that.
For car bodies I like to browse through the fingernail polish aisle at WallyWorld. You'd be amazed at how closely some of the colors match up to what you may be looking for. Thin it out and spray it on with an airbrush over a couple good coats of primer, as some nail polishes can "craze" bare styrene (basically a laquer).
