Can’t find it with my phone , looked on the computer and it’s there ? Thanks guys ! Don’t know why it won’t come up on my phone.

FABO is only 90% phone compatible. believe it or not sometimes you have to rotate your phone for some options to become visible. I learned that the other day!
You can only put so many features on such a small screen. I will say this and be quite direct, If you are serious about FABO, get on a laptop or desktop. Don't use tablets or cell phones. Also, generally speaking, Programs are written on PC's and not Apple. Often, there is issues on Apple computers and phones because of the conversion software. I have 2 kids in the IT business and one of the first things they ask if there is an issue is are you on a Apple or a PC. Some have no issues. Others have nothing but problems.

It is gone because the mods are a great group of likeable Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Oh wait it is still there. Never mind.
Well at least we still have the movie Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.

Thanks for the vote of confidence. The thread never left. The op was probably searching the list without clicking on the "unread" option, and if you don't, of course you won't see it.

lol!

I probably do more than half of my posting from an iPhone, like I’m doing right now. I’ve never owned a windows/DOS based computer- even when I was an engineering student. Obviously I’ve used plenty of them over the years, but never had to run one as my personal computer. The platform isn’t the issue, it’s the user.

And you don’t need any “conversion software” to view FABO on an Apple based system. Just a web browser. This isn’t brain surgery.

As far as IT goes I agree, most IT support is completely clueless about Apple software. But that’s a non-Apple IT support problem, not an Apple problem. If your IT support is tapped out with knowledge of a single OS, they’re not very good. People who are good at that sort of thing can change platforms, software, hardware, etc and still be useful. But that requires your IT support to know more than to say “is the computer plugged into the wall? Have you tried closing windows and opening it again?”.

This one? It wasn't deleted. Ported Vac or Manifold Vac

Click on your name and avatar in the upper right and click "Your Content" Don't bother on your phone.

This works just fine on your phone.

Click on your user avatar at the top of the screen

Select “your content”
IMG_8874.jpeg

Voila, all your posts

So that method works fine on a phone, as you can see.

But there’s also the easier method described by @4spdragtop

Want to find a thread you started? Look at upper right, you see "find threads" ? Click on that and it's all the threads you started.
See pics, I took screen shots....from....my....phone...

Yup, a completely different and even easier way to do that. So, that makes two different ways to find your own posts, both of which work fine from a phone

And that option doesn't show on my phone. Too small of a screen would be my guess. My avatar does show if I turn it sideways.

Software that is written on a PC doesn't automatically work on a Apple that was my point. There are things your phone does that mine doesn't. We can share apps that work for both but mine does things yours can't and visa-versa. There have been members here that have had problems and the question was asked Apple or PC. Like above, we are using the same program but what you see on your Apple may be a bit different than what I see on my PC/Android.

Since this site is web based perhaps you have your default screen size too big.

Or your phones text size too big or your other phone defaults set to larger than standard.

I get it my kids laugh at me for having my brightness over 50%

This is what I see on my Android phone

My settings were default except text size was 2 notches larger

Same screen with text at default

Only thing that is different is the URL text size is smaller

That is possible. I have it jacked over 100% on my laptop so I can read it easier. The screen is further away and I don't look through my bifocals. There are a lot of variables that can cause issues.

Post on ported and manifold advance gone

Had a lot of good info and now it’s gone ?

You mentioned the Mighty 318, didn't you? It's ok, some people just can't handle the superior plastic timing chain teeth. Nor can they abide the sunken valves on un-hardened seats continuing to run through the present day. Those wretched curs will bow before the thundering torque of the ubiquitous 318. It was so awesome, the germans named an entire CAR after Ma Mopar's 318!

i remember when iphone first came out. they said you can browse the real www over and over.

The site is web based. The entire point of that is it can be used cross-platform. Websites aren’t written to run on a PC or an Apple. Some are optimized by web browser, but that’s about the extent of that and quite frankly if a website only works well with one browser that’s lazy programming, like an IT guy that can’t accomplish the same task on an Apple and a PC.

In this specific case, either of the above methods will work regardless of browser or PC vs Apple vs Android. If your screen appears different it’s settings YOU changed, not features that aren’t on the website. They’re there, if you understand your browser and phone etc then you can use the same tools on the website, they’re still there.
