Windshield trim

Hi - getting to the place in my restoration and now putting in the new windshield and backglass.

Car previously had a vinyl top and now I have removed it.

Does this change the chrome trim or trim clips on the car? Or will my old trim work?

I'm guessing you're referring to a 1973 scamp ?
If that's the case you can use the same trim and fasteners. You might want to eliminate the horizontal trim on the sail panels and the small piece of trim on the a piller as not needed.

Thank! And yes a 1973 scamp. I did remove those small trim pieces when I did the body work.

I ordered new clips from OER but they are bigger than my original- and this made me wonder if the trim was different.

May have to jsu clean up and re- use the old ones.
