I agree that it was probably a late 80's early 90's project when "mud running" was the newest and coolest thing. Ever seen Mud Shark? A 1965 Corvette body on a mud runner. I would bet that was this persons inspiration. While its nothing Id ever want, it was their car and did it to the vision they had. But, the "Historical" plates are for sure a laugh and a half!!
 
Me and some friends did the same thing to a `71 Z-28 back in the early 80's. Sad thing is, we actually INCREASED it's value...
 
If I was rich I'd buy it and jack it up higher
just to hear you guys squall louder! :snakeman:

here is the same car restored. its nice now but really doesn't stand out in a row of boring restored e-bodies..
