Somebody saw you comin. For 600, I'd put a little more and go aluminum. Just cause you did it, doesn't make it right. lolI paid $350.00 usd for a .010 .010 crank 2 years ago. X heads are probably worth $300.00 and up. I. Ought a set of J heads rebuilt with 2.02 valves for $600.00 usd. Kim
Yup. some SCCA classes also require stock heads and prohibit porting.
X Heads have to be most overly worshipped part in the Mopar world of performance.
They don't make one for a slant yet.Rob, Show me your aluminum heads and I’ll show u mine. Kim
And that's for someone using them for a class with restrictions or for a number restoration. You wanna wait that long?
Dude, it's the X. You should see the Chevy guys fighting over the old 041X double humps. You'd think they were made outta gold. ......and every single Ford 400......has a row of X's cast right in the intake valley. You caint tell um nuthin, until you show um another one just like it and they they think they have seen two "rare and experimental" blocks. Yes, the X marks the spot. The stupid spot.X Heads have to be most overly worshipped part in the Mopar world of performance.
And they probably never will. They don't make one for a slant yet.
Preach it brother. Then you'd have somethin sho nuff. lolWouldn't put 2 cents into steel heads except W2's!!
They could make one. This one is race only with alcohol. No coolant passages. This one happens to fit a John Deere. They don't make one for a slant yet.
