ok well ive been on a little bit over a year now but I had a B body for my 1st ride 1969 dodge coronet. Im really Dart_Doctor jr my Dad has ummm 7 and my uncle has 3.There are 3 Dart_Doctors but this bout me right? lol Well thanks to them I started liking the a bodies ..... but im the black sheep of the family! As my 1st a was a 64 Plymouth 4 door val that they built for my aunt. The story go's like this well 2 years of driving that coronet she rounded the cam and broke. There was a guy that had been bugging me to buy it for the 2 years and he had a 66 dart post car that had been setting for years my uncle wanted it so I told the guy that his dart and 500 bucks he could come get her .. He was all over that the same day he took the coronet I gave my uncle the dart and 500 bucks! I drove the val home well I had it for 4 years drove it off and on then last year some chick hit the thing!!! well I was I got to thinking I don't want this car any more and my bro needs a cool car to play with so I sold her to him and when I had the val parked for bout a year out of them 4 I started a 92 dodge Dakota rat thing I was just playing with it I wanted it to be different from all the others out there so that's what I did now after sell in the Val to chuck I took the cash and got the 1st barracuda got it home looked it over and knew I was in over my head .. so I sold it and a 65 Val wagon I had to my uncle there also a 74 Val 4 door but didn't own it long that's what I traded to get the wagon and some other stuff then i got the good 65 barracuda now im getting over the knee thing i will be starting on her btw im 23

I assume that it is still open to enter since it is before October. Anyway here is my story. I am 20 and have always loved mopars and came from a mopar loving family. When I was in 9th grade I bugged my dad enough to fix up his old high school truck which was a 78 Dodge step side. Then I got the itch for my own car and was looking for a duster. A friend of ours happened to know someone who just got a 72 dart and was selling it to fund another project. So I bought it from him and started working on it. I used the car for my high school senior project, getting the rust fixed, brakes fixed, and putting in a 360. I am still working on it, but college has slowed the pace.

my name is brandon lawson i am now 21 as of aug 16 :hello2:

ive always liked muscle cars, at age 16 we went looking for my first car my family took me to a tow yard and there was a orange muscle car there and when i first saw it i knew i had to have it, it was a 73 plymouth duster /6 running everything stock ex the paint. we bought it for 1000$ and the funny thing was that i didnt even know what it was or who even made it lol but i got it anyway because it looked so kool.

so this car was my high school car and got me pretty popular and btw i live in the city not in the middle of nowhere, over my high school yrs i was always mainting the car and driving it everywhere.
this car even took me to prom for my senior year i loved this car so much. i took auto class for two years and learned the basics but when i really started to learn stuff was when i was hands on and gaining experience. people said that those /6 were bullet proof but i managed to go threw 2 of them before i graduated high skool.

after i graduated i parked the car and decided to finally do a v8 swap so i went searching for a 318 and 1 1/2 yrs of the car sitting i rebuilt a 318 with the following in my sig and all was bought new. it felt really good when i turned that key the first time to break the engine in knowing that i rebuilt it myself with my hard earned money. since then ive upgraded the rear to a 8 3/4 with 3.91 s.g heres my link http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/showthread.php?t=147984 and i am in the process of swaping the front to disc and im going to yang the engine back out because i would like to change up the heads, int, cam, and carb because of all of the information i have gathered here on this site you guys are amazing and this place shows incredible knowledge and i am greatfull to have found this site.
mopar is my blood because of my past and i love it i have more plans for the future of course but at times i struggle i have the time but not the money..

i am getting married in a 1 1/2 and i only have a couple more months to do what ever i can to the car before i need to start saving for the wedding. hopefully i can do body and paint after the wedding i would like to paint it omaha orange and black interior but that wont happen for yrs lol..... O and my dream car is a 71 cuda well idk the yr yet but that body style with a hemi

the one most valuable lesson i have learned is that you learn from mistakes and thats what it takes to gain experience.. I really didn't have anyone to help more or guide me and that's why I made some mistakes but I'm glad because I wouldn't be here with the knowledge I know now.
thanks for reading and thanks for this awesome website with awesome people:coffee2:

I have been around mopars all my life and I am 13 years old and have a 1984 dodge rampage i'm in the process of restoring it has a 2.2 and a five speed.
