Your Car have a Theme song?

I bought a 74 duster awhile back and stuck in the CD player (added on) was a cd with only the song: The Stroke by Billy Squier. I found this fitting for a slant 6 car with a long stroke, so it stuck and I play it every time I work on the car. I think she likes the song, her hood hums along to it! :cheers:

Anyone else have a car theme song? Story to go with it too?

Does an anti-theme count? My wife's Camaro hates anything by a British band called Muse. Doesn't matter what song it is, if it plays on the radio the car acts up.

I never picked it out but years ago a friend of mine put together a montage of photos of our club cars set to music that changed with each car .....every time I hear the song, I think of my car and her ( RIP Linda ). The song was Devil with a blue dress

I saw Cake back in 2012 and that song was awesome live!

Now as for my car...the first time I ever got my car to run after sitting for years, Sober by Tool was on the radio and the slant fired right up. Favorite song by my favorite band blaring through ancient speakers in my favorite car. That was a good day

Over the years of ownership two songs would come on the radio EVERY TIME I worked on, sanded on or disassembled my Cuda: Zep's Kashmir and Ozzy's Iron Man. I love me some Zep but Ozzy not so much. It happened so often it got to be kind of a joke.

Flash forward 13 years to November 10, 2003 when my wicked 340 fired up for the very first time. I stood there in my post-Hurricane Katrinaed destruction crying like a baby -- women are so emotional lol -- and what comes on the radio? The Rolling Stones' Angie.

Now owning that ride for nearly 24 years, all three songs make me remember all those countless hours of turning a pos basketcase into a car ... and it makes me smile.
