This video shows a women who appears to be talking on a cell phone from 1928. This video has gone global and is very interesting:read2: and some say proves time travel. What do you think?

Don't think I have ever seen film (movies) from that era where you don't see the frame of the movies playing. It looks too good to be from the 1920's
 
I'd say even if time travel was possible and the lady brought her cell phone with her to 1928, i'm pretty sure she wouldn't have a signal LOL, makes you wonder what she is doing though, it does look like she is holding a cell phone ha ha.
 
I believe it is a hoax, though I do believe there is more to 'time' than we have yet learned.
 
She must have a DeLorean parked around there somewhere. Either that or an early episode of Quantum Leap.

They had this on NBC nightly news last night. They think she is holding a "period" hearing aid to her ear. They were pretty crude at the time.
 
I love how people across the world have jumped to the conclusion that it's a cellphone. I wonder what it would have been if this had surfaced pre-cellphones in the 80's.

It just goes to prove that were pretty dumb as a species if we jump to inane conclusions like that.

Sooooo, can they only use those at certain times during the month? It sounds really strange to me because, my wife seems to have bionic hearing during those times.

If time travel were possible, we would already know about it. Think about it. The atomic bomb was about as secret as it gets. Someone theorised it was possible, a government built it and used it. That Government (our government) kept it as secret as possible, now, less than 100 years later, you can get instructions on the internet, every government in the world has simmilar technology, or is figuring out how to get it. If time travel were possible, that period of secracy wouldn't start when it was invented, it would start when it was lost to people in the "target time". Do you think people could keep something like that secret for 100 years? How about 1000 years, or 5000 years? Once the genie is out of the bag, technology eventually falls into the hands of private citizens. How well can we keep a secret? I can't fly to Chicago without losing my cellphone, would you trust me with a time travel device in 2000 B.C.? Eventually the technology would be so common, it wouldn't matter how it was built, you could just pick one up at Wal-Mart, or an ancient Egyption market.


Maybe I've put too much thought into this.
 
If I had a time machine I would definitely have blown up more crap than just Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Charles Manson would have never stood a chance with the Tate's because they would have been armed and ready like Tackleberry from "police academy".

I would have taken pictures of the shooter on the grassy knoll.

I would have secret video of Jesse Jackson planning MLK's murder.

Would pinch Marilyn Monroe's butt,..........and do all kinds of other fun stuff.
 
Thank you. If time travel were possible (and accessible to THAT old lady) would you a) evacuate the World Trade Center Complex before terrorists flew planes into them, or b) look at a zebra?

not a attempt for a attack on you. i assumed you saw it somewhere else and posted it for us to discuss, which we are. What i meant is, who was watching something from 1928 and thought that woman was on a cell phone? If I took a computer back to 1928 I wouldn't have internet access, which is what I meant by I can't get cell reception beside a tower. it seems alot of people here are trying to pick fights so they can start threads about what a d-bag the other person is. At the end of your post you asked "what do you think?" :dontknow:
