"1970 Pro Touring Dart Build"

-
Just wondering? Do you already have your shocks, spindles and brakes?

(No, I don't have any for sale)

Denny told me that they use 2" drop Mustang II spindles, and they can be had for $169 a pair. He has the list for all parts.

Well, We dug into the drivers quarter today. We knew there was mud there but the amount surprised us.

All in all it isn't to bad. Gordy thinks he can get 90% of it back.
I'm good with having a LITTLE filler an not having to buy a new quarter.

I'm wondering how I missed your build! I just finished reading the entire thread. Looks great! you will be thrilled with your front end set up for sure!

I'm already pretty happy with it. But the jury is out until the car is on the street.
Just ordered up everything on the parts list for the K minus coil overs.

have you ever driven a Honda? Get used to it... It feels that good. Although, I'm a gen 3 guy.

I've recently become a VW guy. Love my TDI Golf with the DSG for a daily driver. Its got a firm sporty feel to it and hugs the road really well.

Here is the mpg from my trip home on Friday. The trip meter for the tank is accurate also.
To be honest I had the wind behind me. I normally have been getting mid to high 40's.

I'm sure suspension on the Dart will feel great compared to what it had.

awesome build man!!! nice work ya done! wish i could work on my dart. its on back burner for a couple years.

Anyone know where these go?

I turned my back and the plasma cutter got a mind of its own.

you like to go where some men have never gone before.....just like Capt Kirk

Thanks. That is good to know as I hope to (someday) be one.

What really sells a product for me is customer support, before and after the sale.
Denny has been one of the BEST to work with.

So many smart *** remarks come to mind. But I'll keep this show PG rate and not comment. :)

I think I found where they were at.

can't hardly wait to turn the page on this one......and see what your gonna do next

I have thought about taking out the torsion bar mount myself, I might just notch in some half rounds...looks good I wish I had a plasma I could have made short work of a couple mods here and there. I see your fuel cell came in .......I'm thinking about changinging my sending level unit to a floatless system.

What will the float-less system get you?
I've had the fuel cell for a couple weeks now, just waited for the right time to show it.

What, you don't want to commit Mopar suicide like I did? The torsion bar mounts don't have any use now that we are going coil overs and it opens up a football field of room.
Really glad I went with the USCarTool SFC's now.

Just keep the gas needle from going from let's say 1/2 a tank to full or empty every time you hit the gas or brake or turn hard.

This is how we roll at the shop.

Grillin on the Grill. :D
