I like the sinister look

This looks nice.

I like a flat hood (no scoop) but would prefer the scoop over the air cleaner sticking out the hood.

Your 66 Valiant looks assume!

i like your car better without the scoop, can´t be much better than that! Fell in love with the 66 Valiant 2dr sedan a few years ago but was not able to find a decent one here in europe - so i bought a nice 68. For me your car has got the perfect look (ok, a hemi with hillborne intake would be nice...:poke:)

Go with the snorkle. As per the DC race manual Mopar states its the most efficient Scoop of Its time. Same as the the T/A Challenger hood. and SixPack Bee hood but its a bolt on and its not a parachute trying to pull the hood off. Its application can be made to look clean as if it belongs there. On your car? I think Body color would look cool even if your leaving the fenders flat black which I think looks pretty good on your car.

Still thinking Keith , I do think it's time to weather proof your engine bay, I remember seeing a picture of it in a ice storm and you hade the complete engine covered with
plastic and I could see your breather threw the plastic ...... I always like those scoops but not on your wagon :D leave it allone

Rain storm Mike, took the pic from my Hotel window while at the Mopar show here in MN. I always have a heavy sheet of plastic to keep rain out if it is parked and it is outside, I also do this when I wash it, keeps the engine dry :glasses7:

Hey there buddy. I like the looks of the scoop. But I'm just a little prejudice.
I think a 6 pack scoop would look on your car. Just make a couple of plugs
for the holes. I made mine out of closed cell foam and covered them with black duct tape.

I voted No, but that was before I realized there was already a hole in your hood XD I vote yes on some kind of scoop to go over it. My vote in the poll just doesn't reflect it.

That's the one I was talking about
I have not voted yet, looks darn good on there but it has been dun before :D

I think it needs a scoop......just not that one. Hard to put into words........but the scoop is not the right era for your car, best I could describe it.

Needs one. I just don't think that one follows along with the body lines. Your car your call. Perhaps a non mopar old school teardrop scoop.

First off, I gotta say I love your car brother!
Totally BadAss!
More than one hood would be nice.
How about the Ford Teardrop?
Definitely period correct, and I seem to remember seeing them on all kinds of cars as a wee lad at the track back in the 60s (facing forward or back)...
Just a thought (and to those that want to rip, just another opinion).
The dual snorkle just isn't right, I like it the way it is much better...

mopars are ment for scoops not just that they lok awsome but cool them down nicley

has to be the older hemi scoop though on that car... the one below would look awesome on your car..

I know it's not the same exact body style, but pretty close. Here's a pic of the scoop on the '68 Valiant Inland Mopars built as our 2008 charity project car.
I like this scoop on A-bodies and I'm planning on putting one on my '69 Dart.
