1968 B body 8 3/4 complete rear axle assembly

I am selling a complete 8 3/4 rear axle assembly removed from a 68 Charger. I am advertising on here since A body ones are hard to come by, people have taken these and modified them to fit.

A bodies spring perches are 43" center to center and B bodies are 44".
Most leave these alone and just cut the housing flanges down to correct length and reweld them, then order aftermarket axles.

This comes with a 489 case(gear ratio unknown), and 11" rear drum brakes which are rare, usually they are 10".

I don,t think your deal is steep at all. 8 3/4 complete rear with 11 inch brakes and LBP axels.JMO Good luck.

$500 steep? For a complete drum to drum axle? Man, you guys must get hellacious deals where you're from...I paid $375 for just a used 741 SG chunk with 3.23 gears...so another $125 for a housing with axles and brakes seems like an OK deal to me...especially if I were in the Bay Area, but I'm not...
