Summit has trick flow heads

WHY pay over 2k for the heads??

why not ! I have about that much in my fully ported 915 's. I will be 1st in line for the new trickflow head, more flow and a better lightweight head.

Oh hell! Really? Well, I'll be first in line for a set of heads that will take a solid roller w/Ti valves and out flow these for under 2K! We're are they? Do so tell us all!

IQ, nice numbers out of those VI's. Thanks a bunch.

I sent them a email and you'd thought the return came from a pilitician.

Cuda620 is an LS guy so of course it would be silly to spend 2k for heads for a dadgum ole Mopar motor.

I think we all need to be a little more patient and wait until our excellent resident porting and dyno men like IQ52 and MRL have a chance to work with them. Anything stated now other than the official published figures is pure speculation and therefore has little value.

Yep.They are a good street head now .I'm thinking about a 470

I also think they'll be a excellent bang for the buck once they arrive.

The more I think about it I just may buy a pair cause the way it's going I won't be able to build what I want.A 600 horse 470 on pump gas with a 100 shot will be slow but won't have to work on it a lot.Next year I might run dragweek

IMO, the heads have the air flow as listed to support your goal of 600HP. Without the laff'in gas.

Not good enough so I need the laughing gas....

Got a email this morning

Our head is already CNC ported and I don't suggest touching it. We are going to offer a larger port in the future that will be capable of a lot more hp, but that will be a little down the road.

Thanks,
Harold

I also think that this is going to be the best bang for the buck that us big block Mopar guys have been waiting for.
A true bolt on without being disassembled and corrected out of the box?
My hopes are up, but we'll see.
In about a year i'll be ready to buy after that is all sorted out.

I've heard a lot of good things about Trick Flow from the ford and Chevy camp, hopefully, it will be the same for us.

Here's your proof, guys, wasn't yanking your chain.

That's not proof. Proof is when somebody gets some dee-livered. That's the point I was trying to make. I never doubted they were in the book. I said they were many posts ago. That was not being debated. When they hit somebody's doorstep, that's proof.

And a hundred fold squared when they leave....

Just talked to someone at Trickflow and he said delivery around the first of July ....... hope he is wrong .... DTM

Any way to find out what the specs on the various offered springs are? "max .680 lift" and "hydraulic roller cam" doesn't tell me much...

mhh, these guys are just up the road from me
If someone had a 440 to drop in my duster I could go over there and offer to try out a set
