Stop in for a cup of coffee

Yep. I know. I did the CAD drawings during R&D on it last year. Sad part is, even the 6.7 cummins truly didnt need a DPF or DEF. Emissions levels were right on the line for the allowed limit so cummins went ahead and added that stuff to be safe.
My 6.7 Ford will, and has, walked a 6.7 Cummins. The 6.7 Cummins is over matched by both Ford and GMC in real life situations/towing.
The 6.7 Cummins really responds well to emission deletes.

Adding Nitrogen in the form of NH3 (ammonia) to reduce NOx seems an odd way go about it. Ammonia is fairly caustic, must be hard on hard parts. I can see perhaps as the NH3 breaks down and produces H2O it would reduce the numbers of NOx simply by adding a higher concentration of H2O to the overall combination. The added free Nitrogen isn't a concern? I hate it when I have these flashbacks of reason

Meh, not gonna get into that debate. But a LOT of that is in the transmission. I don't like the Aisin transmissions. Put a better transmission behind them and they'll walk anything. Besides, I still flow the truck pulling scence very tight, the trucks winning in the stock and street stock classes are almost always Cummins powered trucks. Get into pro-mod or 7800 lb super street and that's literally all that's winning. I have not owned a Ford, but the absolute worst vehicle I ever owned was a Duramax chevy. Problem child like crazy.

Its the only one that wont blow up at those power levels!

The BluDef was just a quick knee jerk reaction by the manufactures to try to comply with the new Obama era smog rules. They were out of the blue. Tech will get better.

yeah. just down the road from me is Ben Miller, world record holder for power levels out of a Powerstroke, at last record, 1600 hp and 2200 ft lbs. and i know the last season i pulled, he'd gone thru 3 engines. Meanwhile, the 5.9 and 6.7 cummins are laying closer to 3000 hp and 4000 ft lbs and surviving. Somehow. With 2 less cylinders.

With any luck, Our President will get the Diesel Smog rules revised. Fingers crossed.....

It all boils/burns down to FIRE. Whenever anything burns it changes one compound (fuel) into numerous different compounds. :rofl:It just so happens it also produces energy in the form of heat that can be useful to some extent. We should put DEF cannisters in ALL the brush land to reduce NOx emissions in case of a brush fire

yep. I would. Only cause at that point, if I could afford the 90,000 truck, I'd buy land instead haha. No offense, but I cannot justify that kind of money for a truck. Course I use a truck as they were originally intended and we're hard on them.
Im no mathemechanic, but spending ten grand on a truck leaves me 80 grand for fuel. Just sayin...

Watch out, if he does you might become a fan and need a red hat
I have said the only real thing I don't like is that guys persistent LYING!!! O and a stupid Wall that wont do squat...
If a Man says something, and truly believes what he said, he should OWN it. Much more respect IMO for a Man like that. EVEN if it is wrong! Don't change what you said because it sounds better now, the new version. Or, acknowledge he was wrong, and now this is what he believes to be the true story.

Hahaha...Every time I drive it...Someone tries to buy it.....
yep. We have an 89 350 chassis cab thats only got 126,000 miles, 5 speed. Cummins. Never a wrench to the engine except for oil and a belt change.
