Stop in for a cup of coffee

I finally made the official seal of Philly road warrior drivers. The inscription is Latin for “Philadelphia...stay out of my way!”

Another apprentice I worked with had kin in Texas. Whenever he went to visit he load up the pickup with Olympia and bring back Lone Star :lol:
 
After I started brewing my own I really don't like many commercial beers.
 
Philly drivers are maniacs. Yesterday, I was headed up the route 1 bypass doing 72 in a 55 zone.

As I approached the crest of the hill where I know they run two speed traps regularly about 2 miles apart, one at the top of the hill and one at the bottom, I slow to match the speed of the traffic in the right lane next to me.

An idiot in a Scion xB flies up behind me and is about 5’ off my back bumper. Having just passed the first speed trap, I look back and see him screaming at me to get out of the way with the veins in his neck bulging.

So I did the only polite thing...I nailed the brakes hard!

As he panicked to keep from hitting me, I flipped him the bird and floored the Hemi. I was a hundred yards ahead of him going 90 mph before he knew what happened. I watched him floor it trying to catch me and I held the speed steady waiting for him to catch me.

Just as he got to me going 95 mph, he whipped into the right lane to pass thinking it was a race.

It wasn’t.

As soon as he got next to me, I nailed the brakes again and dropped back to 58 mph as he flew by...right into the speed trap...doing 95 mph in a 5 mph zone.

I watched the trooper run out from his hiding spot and nail him.

I couldn’t resist rolling down the passenger window and grinning at him as I cruised by!

Hey guys...migraine meds worked. Only 10 hours of pain...anyway all good now but have to be up by 230 for my flight.

Dave, how are the shirts coming? Any thoughts on when you would be into taking orders? Probably after your tooth fiasco is over.
 
I wonder if the $400 40 mph over the limit speeding and reckless driving ticket, the points on his license and his new higher insurance premiums will teach his dumb as anything?

That’s pretty much what I’m waiting for. The test shirts all are holding up well. Probably in the next 2-3 weeks to start taking orders.

95 in a 55. In PA, it won’t send you to jail but you will likely lose your license for at least 15 days and have to go to traffic school to get it reinstated. Never mind what it will do to your Insurance premiums!

AHH I see the typo now.

In Indiana, anything over 15 over is automatic reckless driving. A B misdemeanor. At 25 over, it becomes a felony and automatic arrest, booked and taken before a judge and then they impound your car until the court case is closed.

In PA, reckless driving kicks in at 31 mph over.
