Stop in for a cup of coffee

Heat the bolt. I use straight mapp gas in my propane torch, its hotter. It takes a lot if its in aluminnium.

I remember my buddy breaking 3 wrenches trying to get 12mm 12 point bolts off his yoke to pull driveshaft. Didnt think heat would help. Like butter..that locking compound melted easy.

Hmm, my torch is just a propane plumbers torch. Didn't want to risk it with the Oxy/Ac torch.

Well done with a quick coat of wax. Thought it was getting warm so came in and checked.
Its 73 degrees, with 67 dew point, and 81% humidity...no wonder I was working up a sweat!!
Quick!? Need to have you show how that's done!
How many levels of old streets are there?? Looks like a layer of bricks under the dirt??
Not sure but not a lot. The Baltimore Pike was built early 1800s but the alignment might have been a little bit upstream as appaerntly there was a bridge. I think we're seeing reinfocement to spread the loads under the track bed and street.
The big sewer should be further down. The storm drains along the streets have their own sewer. That might be the brick arch we see in the second photo. I remember the drawings for side street connections show a "egg shaped" cross section to the sewer - and its closer to the sidewalk. Making it narrower at the bottom keeps velocity up. Kindof cool someone thought about that.

What can you get for two bits????
Shave and haircut.

Its too hot in my office. Im going back to work.

Bolt heads get the shock of the hammer interface and the rotation from the tool. Is there enough room to get a sharp cold chisel to the bolt head to give it a few whacks in the counter clockwise direction?

I have got to pick a Friday night to do Ocean Speedway in Watsonville. Never been there.

Winged sprints in Kaeding country should be most enjoyable.

Went and looked at a guys old Ford Truck at his Tree Nursury . Said the gas pedal wouldn't mash. Lol. Nothing wrong with the cable, but the primary shaft on the Holley 4 V was locked up. He says. Oh yeah. It's been sitting here for three years...
