Funny you say that, I took these last July...walking through with the kids was interesting, my 8 year old son says (real loud too so everyone else could hear!) “look dad, he’s giving her a back rub!” LMAO...not sure what was going on but several tortoises were getting it on....we were at the Reptile Gardens in SD....fun place actually!

Yes it is Ulf's. :) I had forgotten him, until we now "remet" in the forum. I had forgotten he came driving to Norway and visited me, 30 years ago or something like that. And he kept pictures of my old Dart station wagon all these years, and my name and address. He is a real 65 Dart enthusiast. I have been lost for 30 years, but now I am trying my best to get back to where I was and should have been all the time.

Mike, I wish you understood Swedish. There are several youtube movies where you can see his cars, but they talk Swedish. I mean I have seen them all. Well, don't hang me if I have missed one, I guess I need to go back and check.

This is kind of a bit personal, but I am disappointed in myself. I really am. I should have kept my 1965 Dodge Dart station wagon. It had some body challenges and the brakes, but I should have somehow taught myself to do better bodywork, and the brake parts that was worn and could not find, I could have welded, and used a file to make them right and fitting. It was an excellent winter car. Only the 1988 Ford Aerostar have been as good as the Dart. The 71 Torino, 65 Galaxie, and 79 Colony Park was never as good on winter roads as the Dart. Too large on narrow Norwegian winter roads.
I am glad I am on the right track now when it comes to car choice.

Kitty has been taking art classes from a very good local artist. This lady does everything from murals on school halls, to restaurants, to even custom car airbrush paint jobs. She is very, very good. She runs a little place and teaches art classes. A bunch or redneck women paintin up a storm all kinda stuff. Usually like an 11x14 canvas, but sometimes wood art and other things. Tonight (Tuesday) I had practice with men's chorus and dropped Kitty off at art class. Now, Kitty is a dang good painter herself. She did this all free handed. I didn't know which one she was doing and she came home with this for me. She even got the tail light up high like about a 1960 model Ford truck. She knows I like green and knows I like trucks with what I call the "polar cap treatment". Check it out.

Good morning old friends, time to fill the coffee pot, count my blessings and move forward.
 
My back yard buck this season.
Today I will be going threw all my deer meet from last year and start cooking it up, stew, chili and hamburgers.

Had a young one eating apples in the front yard a week ago.
Bears are getting active around here too. Geese are flying.
Buddy was flying back from his rice lake at 3000 feet, saw a bald eagle cruising the updrafts. Odd they would be so high.
I suspect it was looking for a flock of geese.
 
Morning everybody, btw.
+2 celcius with a high of 6. Not very warm,but no rain.
Have to swap some tires,and diagnose a no start issue on a chevy van.
Want to pull the head off the Fargo and see if i can get it loose.
 
I have my sights set on a young doe here, spots on her are almost gone.
I clean and dress my own deer meet and will not be hunting for bone (big bucks) till I have a tender easy cleaning doe.
Our Bald eagles here are busy this time of year it seems, see them on tree tops and fence rows all the time. The bald eagles have made a big come back :thumbsup:

I never saw a baldie until 15 years ago. There just werent any. Now if i go on any sort of drive around here i always see at least one. So i agree that they are making a comeback. I think thats a good thing.

I bet you do, all the rivers and lakes here have them everywhere and I got to enjoy watching a pair of parents fly over there two young adults last season here at home as they take flight, there nest is just 7 miles north of me.
