Stop in for a cup of coffee

I have some old stainless steel turbos on my car, I've had them for years.....they sound great, and are not too loud......they are finally wearing out, any ideas for replacement? i'm like mike, I don't want anything too loud.

Flowmaster and Magnaflow both have muffler series now that are a deep, but not loud tone. Kind of similar to a Borla tone.

BAck when people wanted quiet and Thrush and Cherry Bombs wouldn't do.

@toolmanmike Feel free to move those posts about Nipo-denso starters here or to a new thread.
Wouldn't want us being accused of sidetracking someone elses conversation (outside of the coffee thread of course.)

Look what I found while cleaning and reorganizing in the basement. Made their way up to the dining room table - whewre they sit now.
Knew they were somehwere.

I found a photo I took of a massive oak tree near work last year. It stands nearly 70’ tall, has a trunk 5’ in diameter and is estimated to be well over 250 years old. It was just a sapling when George Washington was at Valley Forge only a few miles away from where it stands.

It got to 96* today . Prevailing sea breeze has picked up and it's cooling. Should be good BBQ weather shortly. Got some of the front porch back together yesterday after the painter mayhem.

Lotta good BBQ wood there

Yep. I plan on redoing the exhaust on the GTS next Spring and going with Flowmaster.

flowmaster "drone" real bad back inside the car, see lots of those for sale on craigslist that people have taken off. They are trying to get a few bucks out of them so they can get their next non-drone mufflers of choice.

Not all were header bolt on, thought they made some that were slip on/weld on

Purple Hornies would just not be right anywhere but mounted to the collector. It's a teen image thing :realcrazy:
Would have driven the ex out of her head every time the brat started the Dart. :lol:Me, I like turbo mufflers behind headers. Iron manifolds, glass packs.

Sorry, I meant to type Magnaflow. I was in a hurry and didn’t pay attention. I’m not a fan of Flowmaster.
