Stop in for a cup of coffee

I had about the same slant on my floor. I put shims in, I think it was the way to go. It will bug you forever if you don’t.
I asked my concrete guy to try and keep floor pretty much level except where it gets near floor drain. Its not good at all.
I put rubber pads under the 4 posts, they dont make the creaking and popping noises so much when it flexes. It does still wander around. Every month or so i have to push it back into place. I may drill 1 hole in each post to keep it from moving.

I have a boom-winch mounted on one corner of my hoist. I used it to lift the diff housing and stand it up in parts washer. Forgot to take a picture. so its clean-er and i can now wire wheel it and paint. Couple bearings and it should be ready to go in next weekend. Then i free up a spare diff for the Fargo.

I'll dig into them further. The installation manual starts with sighting the four posts from a survey tripod base, didn't have that and knew if I set that up that the two posts where the drive on end is will be lower. I think I'm going to wait until both ramps are mounted then see what adjustments get it to, then bounce that against the spec. All the manual is talking about so far is if you are going to bolt the lift to the floor they mention shimming then. I bought the caster kit and don't plan on bolting it down.
Definitely shim it if your bolt it down, welds can crack other wise from flexing

Everybody busy..
Me too.

After a light cleaning and choosing not to go at it with sanding wheels on my die grinder. Im near 8 hours into disassemble clean and paint. This **** is time consuming.
2 years is long enough, time to get all the new parts in.
Just need pinion bearings and a crush sleeve.

Yep, busy. We had a lunch meeting with the local drag strip to get organised for our Mopar Max Weekend this summer. A great family owned strip and they are open to our ideas and suggestions. We sponsor Mopar Drags, car show, and swap meet and we want to grow the show. It was a good meeting.

afternoon Mr. Toolmanjameson

in my barn I set up box with holes on the sides and inside are Styrofoam brick sections that come on boxes when you buy new stuff. Then I put a bowl of cat food near the box.

Today I went out and three feral cats took off away from the box. I think they are using it for shelter. So I put some more food.

Its funny how they run as if they are doing something wrong but if I could talk to them, I would tell them, they are welcome and I want them around.

Must be Mopar Sunday...
This is what I'm up to today. Can I make this look good!!! It's in 2 pieces and one ugly crack.

Go for it!
if they are too short then how can that even work because you wont get a connection.

on the flip side, one time I had one too long and it got caught in the fan.
I'll give you a serious answer to that. If a wire reaches but its under tension, its too short. Should be long enough for a little strain relief bend.

Tell you what. After that 'discussion' about both black and red insulation representing feed wires I was looking at pics some original and repro battery feed cable/harness. They're actually really nice design. So nice I'm going to get one to replace the NAPA blue cable that I put in 25 years ago.

I have no idea. I think a can of Budweiser is enough, gets me feeling floaty and everything is funny and then I am done for the night. im a lightweight
One beer would probably do me in too. March 28 will be an interesting day, will be looped before the ship sets sail. Dont know how that happens.

IIRC I bought my Nova for $300 and yours looks twice as good! So yes.
The Nova looked like it had narrowly escaped an attack from Jaws. But it ran, and I told the seller that any car running is worth $300. He called me a couple hours later and said you want it for 300, its yours.

I think I posted this earlier.

You might like my Orange Shandy. The car show guys seem to enjoy it. LOL

So we will be in Orlando for a couple days before the cruise. First time we are going early.
Soo looking forward to turning my back on this weather..
