Ez, just heat the connection till it melts, the solder, then put the de soldering braid on the connection, leave about 1 inch from where you are touching, and put soldering iron/gun on the top of the braid, till it gets hot and draws in the solder off of the connection. Might have to repeat a couple times with new un touched braid, as it get full of solder, just cut it off to a fresh spot..

After Joe patched the small rust spots, he sprayed POR15 into the quarters of my current '67 Barracuda. Let it drip out.

A must, have good drainage back there, Do not plug the drain holes with anything....Really...
On older boards, there is a fine line between just the right amount of heat, and too much, which can lift the printed part of the board off the backing. But it is not to bad when you have done it a few times. When you go to pull the part off the board, keep applying heat to the connections, as you pull....Parts might be hot, careful...
If you are doing carbon resistors, just break them in half with side cutters, then un solder one side at a time...
It will get hard and heat up fast when the sucking starts
So might want to hold it with something other than your fingers...

The POR15 went right up to the drain plug. in fact one side it partially interfered with reinstalling the plugs. Those plugs have a drain in them too.

was scheduled for beginning of June. Annual show at the York fairgrounds. HUGE revenue loss for the area.

I half expected to see the events at Bakersfield Speedway for week after next had been canceled or postponed, nothing yet.

Here is a prime example of a COVID-19 hot spot.
Our township has 84 cases and 1 death. Not too terrible, with less than a 1% death rate.
But the township next to us that is the same size, population and demographics has 272 cases and 73 deaths.
That’s a 27% death rate over there...less than 5 miles from where I live.
Open up public spaces and businesses in the County too soon and guess where people are going to be running away from fastest.
