Trick Flow Intake for small block Mopar

not a betting man but if I was I would lay a bunch of money on the TrickFlow intake outflowing the Super Victor out of the box. And I’m betting by quite a bit. It looks nicer than a Victor340 and I’m in love with them But they need a touch up too.

Do you have a SV you could compare the TF to when you get one?

I have a Super Victor I ported and ran 9.74 with it on my Edelbrock headed 408. I won’t be rushing out to buy one because I have two Indy intakes (one modified for my Edelbrock heads) a Super Victor, and a Victor340.

I really meant if somebody sends you one. It would be interesting to see the 340. SV and TF compared. Now if we could get them to make one with a Magnum bolt pattern, or even with the ability to bolt on fuel rails that would be killer.

I don’t have any virgin intakes here except my sons new Speedmaster intake and it’s getting modified very soon.

As promised I took some pictures of a Fel-Pro gasket on the intake

Apparently the Fed Ex truck caught a tail wind and delivered the TF intake today.

now waiting for the UPS truck to deliver the new battery for my ring filer....

TrickFlow is part of summit racing and right up the road. If you have noticed over the last five years summit has stocked less and less on their shelves but offered more products. They do this to save money and simply call the vendor and have it drop shipped. Zero stocking fees for summit and they still make money. They then usually put a later shipping date on it so guys don’t call daily asking where their stuff is and guys get excited when it arrives early. If I wanted an exact shipping date in this case I would call TrickFlow and ask expected shipping date.

Great info , I noticed [TF] paperwork in Summit brand billet timing chain sets also.

I would like to add to your question. I wonder how it will compare to the Indy Single plane intake. Also wonder if the TF intake will need a lot of porting in the runners or does it come CNC ported from the factory ?
Trick flow doesn't cnc their intakes, would be cool

If it is done right, they shouldn’t have to.
To CNC anything is just more time consumed and money spent that rolls onto our shoulders instead of selling a good as cast part to begin with that would be cheaper than adding the cost of the CNC process.

Wow, the ports actually line up OOTB...I have never had an Edelbrock intake line up like that OOTB, they always needed quite a bit of work with a grinder. Looks good.

That's the difference between a company that cares more about if it fits in the box or a company that places a quality product inside a box.

John.. how do you think that trick flow would work compared to a Victor 340 on a typical eddie stroker bracket motor... both out of the box

Out of the box I’m going to take a guess and say TrickFlow only because someone posted a picture and intake gasket alignment looked great.
