And it works like a champ so pot it is!

Good evening folks. I spent the afternoon helping my daughter put together her Valentine’s gift boxes for her friends. She has been baking and making chocolates for the past few days.

Each box has a homemade 6” heart shaped cake, a bag of handmade chocolate hearts, a bag of homemade cream filled heart shaped macaroons and 1 Russel Stover chocolate covered caramel heart...and a Valentine’s Day card, of course.

She and my wife are out delivering them now.

The damn deer have been coming by and raiding the bird feeder in the late afternoon, sometimes as many as 5 of them. They just stand there and look at me when I go out to chase them off. I usually have to get within 10’ of them while yelling before they scoot.

Tonight I was ready with some pre-made snowballs waiting on the deck. I stepped out and started flinging them. I hit one square in the side of the head and it jumped straight up about 6’ before galloping off. I bet it wonders what the hell happened!

A few slotted shims on the u bolts in the diff housing should cure that drive line angle issue.
going to slot cross member some, drop the tail shaft a little, will get needed clearance to weld plate in the cut out upper cross member. Then shim the rear.

Day is done. Took barrel of oil and exchanged it for an empty one. Buddy dropped off his pickup, parked in quonset with windows down, hood up and battery on trickle charge. Hopefully whatever is draining battery in the cold will continue to do so. Then perhaps the flir will catch it and we can take the appropriate measures to fix it. Im really hoping its alternator.

if i do find it with the flir, that will convince me that it was a good idea.
