Stop in for a cup of coffee

Not big, 9500 watts, will keep well pump, fridge, lights, fireplace fan (so we can burn wood for heat). Will have to practice load shedding to see what all I can run.
My youngest Son Matt ( 36 ) works with some friends of his that own an Electrical Contracting Co. They wanted to get into standby generators. Because my Son has combustion engine knowledge, from his schooling at UTI, and his 7 years at Mercedes Benz of Annapolis, His buddies hired him on to head up the new generator division of their small company. I think its been 4 years now. He seems happy with it..

I see advertisements from some local companies. Seems to be a big deal now days. Especially businesses and I am sure with large computer systems. My youngest has a battery back up for his server but it only lasts a few hours. The juice goes out for days and life goes on with a genset.

Cover your ears when you start that 200horse electric motor  It's gonna get noisy

Morning
Just a sheet of ice over snow outside. Let Harley out she went flying on her ***. You know it is slick out when dogs nails dont bite in. Figures have to get a new faucet for the kitchen sink today, dam spray hose rubbed through. I never liked it anyhow.

Hello Friday lovers!!! TGIF....

Remember when putting on your shoes and boots - Toes Go In First....

ITS FRIDAY!

Good Morning TGIF!! Last day of the work week for some of you!!
Last night was the last night for single digit temps for us!!
Nothing but warmer from here on out!!

Have to pick up fuel pump this morning. I can go in store early and have a coffee. Wont take long to put it back together, and tank was bone dry. Im sure glad i bought the gas tote i saw on the buy and sell. Its the ticket for work like this. 30 gallons takes about 1/2 hour to pump out.

Not sure the amount about 6 when I came in last night and the sleet started. Looks like a skating ring outside.

A snow and ice casualty...sucks!! No I don't know the owner, but the message said they had just completed a long and expensive restoration. I hope they had it well insured.

Mail is seriously weird I got a box of twenty distributor cores yesterday that was mailed from WI on Wed, weighed 59 lbs. Thought it would take a month for sure.

Guy running a storage business not far from here had a building collapse. Poorly maintained and a heavy snowfall. Damaged a lot of stuff.

I have a metal roof and I am so glad I put "snow dogs" on it. This crap if it came down at once would definitely do alot of damage. Lost the rear deck a few years ago because of no snow dogs.
