Stop in for a cup of coffee

Mike sent me pics of my Swinger when he painted it. It will take a couple min. to straighten them out.

We have hundreds of different o-rings at work and I still can't always find the correct size. I think some manufacturers have custome sizes made so you have to buy their kit. And its usually really small ones that are near impossible to make.

They design new o-rings all the time... We used to back in the day...

Groove dimensions, o-ring material with different compressions, etc.... It's never ending...

Just renewed my goldmember ship, forgot about the notification. Back to regular scheduled programming. Dump run is next. Cleaned up some workbench space, then haul some junk out as well as some scrap

Oh dam, I need to renew mine soon... :BangHead:

Naw, I have the free pass card that I carry. The one that says Retired LEO. :D
yea yea yea. :poke: I know that puts it in a little different perpective.
For most of us it seems best to assume that if spotted by non-LEs its a target, and if spotted by LEOs its going to be at best a long discussion.
Not that this relates to me, but this Massad's observation about many officer's natural reaction seems timeless.

238/246 @ .050, 278/286 adv, .524/.543 lift (1.5:1 rocker), 110 sep, .020/.020 lash

or

244/244 @ .050, 278/278 adv, .548/.548 lift, 110 sep, .020/.020 lash

Which roller?

My combo is a 440, 10.3:1 compression(according to summit's calculator), Edlebrock RPM Heads, Holley Street Dominator single plane intake, 1 3/4 headers, Forged L2355 Pistons from SpeedPro. Forged crank, internally balanced. Transmission is a T56 Magnum. Rear gear will be 4.10. car weight between 3000-3200 pounds. 26 inch tire.

I was going with a .509/.514 lift flat tappet but decided i want to step up to the roller @krazykuda it definitely isn’t cheaping out here )

I didn't read the fine print so don't know where it was made. I'd probably pass on it, but it looked neat in the video.
I keep my MP badge up on the visor for the same reason. It holds my registration and insurance cards. I never even have to pull it down to show them, they see it when I flip down the visor for my papers haha

Thing like this should be part of driver’s ed. How to behave during a traffic stop in general. That being said, some cops seem to be looking for a confrontation. Maybe not, perhaps just having a bad day.

Speaking of police, the bridge right by my place is a good speed trap. Lots of complaints about people driving way over the 50k speed limit. Now the ones getting tickets are complaining the speed limit is too low. There are busy intersections on eiter side, so a higher speed could be deadly. There has been a few serious crashes as it is.

One of the things I always teach my students is do not advertise. We call it concealed carry for a reason. And frankly plastering all your pro gun stickers in the window and having a quick release fast draw rig attached to the tunnel or your dash just tells a bad guy to break your window as you very likely, may or may not have a firearm in the car and at the very least they can score some ammo or spare mags. All items they can turn into cash for the mere effort of breaking your window. On B side I have looked at those rigs a time or two and they seem pretty well thought out. I have yet to see one in the flesh tho.

Completely agree. I don’t have any military stickers on my Jeep for the same reason. Or any political bumper stickers.

I hate that. Ever since shopping for that Durango, it’s new car ads non stop, even emails from dealers I never even looked at

Funny thing with all my travels I've never been pulled over since I retired 13 years ago.

Guess you've not done anything that warranted getting pulled over!
Not surprising at all. :)

I got pulled over last year - first time in a long long time. At first I thought it was the neighborhood I was in. And maybe it was in part. But the reason given was the brake light was weak on one side. And right he was. Went right to the garage and spent some time figuring out why and fixed it. So I'm glad he let me know.

Besides the only way that wagon will do donuts is on ice.
