We do. In another life I was on a federal task force for a couple years. I spent most of the time supporting my buddy in his undercover roll. Now when we get together for a few beers he starts telling of our experiences, and Cheryl just sits there shaking her head. She's told me more than once we should right a book. He has a lot more experiences than I will ever have. He spent five years in the Bolivian jungle, undercover in Mexico, lots of chit. We had fun!!

It’s been a good weekend actually. Finally after 18 months of having just 4 people, they gave us more people, including an NCO that out ranks me so now I get to go back to squad leader and not NCOIC!!!! I’m thrilled, much much less bullshit. No more bullshit zoom calls and meetings at all hours!!

I actually got to sleep in this morning. I didn’t have to be there at 5 am to open up post for the above reason!!
 
Just looked up the jobs. They basically take care of monitoring all the satellite signals. You need to have a SCI clearance to be in it. Man thats a ton of looking at a screen!

I played in a men's tennis tournament yesterday. We all had a 3.0-3.5 rating. The other three guys playing in my match were mid 40's early 50's. When we got done and learned I was 65 year old, they were surprised. The youngest one said I was as old as his dad, and he didn't move like I did. Made me feel good!! Covid only did me good losing 25 pounds. I feel and look younger than my age...that's a plus plus!!

I’ve decided I’m gonna start dieting, try to lose 20-25 pounds by end of the year.
