If I backed off the gas immediately at the 1/8 mile, and just held a study 70 mph like on the highway, it would have ran a shimmy under your 16.5 by going more than a 100 ft per second at 70 mph. Just wait till I convert to windshield washer fluid.....:)

We had a "snag of disappointment in the track" because they decided to run 1/8 mile to "sharpen the racers" so the team from the track could represent well on the 1/8 mile tracks. 10.08 in the 1/8 and according to easycalculations.com it came to a 15.72. Easycalculations had the runs in our other vehicles about spot on when I compared the ET slip in the 1/8 to the 1/4... only about 2 hundredths off.
 
Just because......
the 198,*** mile CL 5.9 ran 8.8's it's first time out with a nice flat spot off the line. That should be high 13's in the 1/4. Flat spot was costly. In the process of looking for the carb we want. May or may not make it back before season ends, which is 3 more weekends.
 
I dig that truck....but are you gonna call it "360 will run too" lol....good videos bud, I really enjoy the content
