I am not going to throw around any **** about the build quality. It may be the pan was not sealed correctly. Which is on me......BUT with the oil on the flex plate, doubtful. BUT possible still.............Does not leak till 5K RPM. Then it pours out....
I know you said you have a pcv. But I would start back there. High rpm leaks are generally caused by excessive pressure..
Vent is too clean. So no excessive blowby. If its the pan, could you jack up front of car and add a couple quarts to get the level up past the pan rails?
Yep. I think it's more a vent, then rear seal problem.
Don't know about that.....Engine has correct PCV and oil filler vent.....
Tim if you have a Vac/fuell pressure guage some how get it on a valve cover and see if yoy have crankcase pressure at RPM, Had a Chevy that did that, had to go with a larger flow PVC valve because the vacuum dropped at RPM. Rear seal if bad willl usually leak at most RPM. That valve you show looks like the same as on a early slant.
