Should a Kaiser be allowed at a Mopar show?

There's a interesting discussion going on over at FCBO. Should a Mopar cousin Kaiser be allowed at a Mopar show?. Like AMC. They are distant cousins to Mopars and not siblings. How far out do you go? Fiat? Mercedes? Renault? Willys? (I would love to include those old gassers) What do you think? No real good answer. I like that Kaiser though!

I don't quite understand how a Kaiser is a "distant cousin", but I'm in favor of allowing it in, on the same basis as the AMC cars.
If you like it, look it over and enjoy. If you don't like it, move on to something else. Where is the harm?

Kaiser was bought out by Willys/Jeep which was eventually bought by Chrysler/Renault. Yep, distant cousin. A shirt tail relative for sure.
 
I don't see the problem having them there. More money for vendors and friendships may bring more mopars.

My friend has brought his Nash to the Mopar show, I’m not a fan of all the other brands at an all Mopar show but to each his own
 
Next, we'll want to let in the GM stuff that used Mopar A833 ODs, or IHC because they used some torqueflites and AMC engines

cousins section: AMC, Renault, Simca! Mitsubishi built Colts and Ram 50's...the list would go on. If you don't want the MB influence polluting the show, better kick out all the 300C's.
 
Inland Mopars Car Club's 21st annual "Mopars In May" charity-benefit car show is scheduled for May 15th in Ontario (SoCal).
Although we advertise our show as an all-Mopar car and truck show, we've included a non-Mopar class for a number of years. Why? Because for a lot of years we held our car show at the California School for the Deaf in Riverside and occasionally a student or alumni would want to enter their cars and we couldn't tell them they weren't welcome at their school. We never get a lot of entries in the non-mopar class but we treat them equal to all other show entry classes.
Also, if someone should enter a non-Mopar powered Mopar, it will go to the non-Mopar class.
 
Really depends on the group. Sunbeam's are usually not allowed and Chrysler owned the company from 1964-81(I think) I know it would be odd to be at a mopar show in your ford powered Tiger with a pentastar emblem on it.

Case by case basis. No fiats, no simcas, no Renault. A Tiger is okay, if it's got a 340 or 273 in it. Lol.
 
Our hobby is under attack from all sides, including the Executive branch. It's time to circle the wagons and band together. Strength in numbers. Having a cousin's section isn't a bad idea. Whatever it takes to show people this piece of Americana isn't dead yet.
