Tore down the four wheeler today and rebuilt the top end. ******* watered down fuel gummed up a ton of stuff. But she’s back together and running again.
Luckily I still had all the parts I’d bought last year for the matching four wheeler my grandfather had. That one ended up being stolen out of the place by the squatters. It won’t last them much longer, burnt valves.

but anyway mine is going again.

Morning

Yes, for Father's Day I've been invited to be in a parade. It's a small one, in my yard but apparently I get to ride on a mower. Back and forth...
I coulda. My best friend gave me a razz about the long grass. I pointed at the mower and said if it bothers you that much…
Then i pointed at the fargo and said “priorities, im going to a car show”
Grass will be there when i get back.

I have retiree neighbors across the street and the property next door so I'm "that guy" most times so I try to keep it within reason

9 acres of grass here. And the recent rains have prevented regular mowing. So, a couple hours each morning will get it back under control.

Continuing to try different IPAs… My daughter invited us for dinner. Met halfway at a restaurant in Morgantown PA. Crab fries appetizer and Salmon for dinner. Started with a Yards Philthy - which I really enjoyed. Nice taste and not too crazy on the hops. Then had a Fat Heads Head Hunter - good, but way heavy on the hops for me.

I'm a big fan of ridiculous hops and somewhat bitter beer. Can't do anything fruity...although a glass of Framboise now and again is very nice

So today I also provided Range Safety Officer duties for a very large youth shooting event. 106F up here as we speak. So I had seven kids drop from heat, two ambulance runs, and multiple kids yakking their guts up. It’s hot right? So I am watching little Johnny roll the curtains up and I explain to his very proud Mom we need to immediately get him off his feet and cooled off before he drops. She is arguing with me little Johnny is fine, I explain he most certainly is not and that the lights are on but no one is home. She is in a pride loop and will not deviate from explaining to me in louder and louder terms her son is fine. Then starts barraging him with are you ready to continue, are you ready for next round? Bring him water he is fine. The kid cannot hear anything at this point but likely the roaring in his ears. I explain again much more forcefully we have to get him off his feet. She looks at me like I am a moron as he sways and drops. My partner caught him. Arghh. Parental misplaced pride is dangerous in these conditions. Long day.

You likely would enjoy the second one then. I have never cared for actual 'fruity' beers. Not sure what you consider as such in an IPA. (Have no idea what Frambois is. LOL) I'm thinking my favorites lay somewhere in the middle. Balance the fruity and the hoppy. No, I did not say Hoppy is fruity!

I like a blood orange IPA. Latitude 33. And a mango Ale is nice as well.....

I have suffered from sunstroke and heatstroke a couple times. So this paranoia kicks in. Lots of water and grab shade whenever i can. It knocks a feller senseless. Being in a boat, fishing is a bad one. No escape from the heat. Or sun.
I drank over 1/2 a gallon of water between 11 and 2.
