Hello Friends

As I live in Mexico I have access to all the special Mexican Spec cars they made. If this one isn't for you I can find you one you will love.

Rare as rare can be.

Here we have a 1968 Mexican Spec Dodge Dart GTS.

Under the hood is a 275 hp 318 V8 mated to a 4 speed manual transmission.

A lot of work has been done on this car.

The suspension has been rebuilt.

It is riding on new Cooper Cobra Radial GT's. The rear rims were widened to 9 inches. Look at the meat this one has.

This car has its original Mexico only hub caps.

The complete braking system has been redone including all the brake hoses.

The complete interior was also done. It features black cloth, with diamonds on them, front buckets.

Take notice of the instrument panel. There is a trip odometer there. Did they offer that on the US Spec GTS or any Dart?

Very few of these GTS' were sold in Mexico.

You might have noticed the paint is not original to the car. The car was originally blue but the current owner had it painted a darker blue with a pearl clear coat. It changes color in the sun.

I know the US Spec Dart GTS came with bigger engines, but this is an extra cool car and would be unique in your neighborhood.

I have verified the VIN is correct on this car, stamped into the left frame rail, and that matches the ownership document.

If you want to draw all the wyes even at a Mopar car show, this is the car for you.

The vehicle delivered to the Nogales border will be $23,425 dollars new tires included. This includes delivery to the Nogales Arizona border from Southern Mexico via professional transport.

If you have any questions about the importation process, I will be happy to answer them.

I know the thought of buying from Mexico makes people nervous. I can provide references from my previous clients if necessary.

You can see more Mexican vehicles at mexicanspec.com and if interested please read the Procedure link on my website to learn more.

Very intriguing piece. I'm wondering the titling issues one may experience? And I'm also guessing now is the time to sell to States before any Tarriff kicks in? I believe customs would consider as an import? (Which still require some import fees.)

Any expansion of information regarding US ownership is appreciated.

The 25% tariff is due right now. It came in, in early March.

The President just put off the raise in the tariff for 90 days.

The tariff is paid on the declared price on the bill of sale.

In some states you need to get the Spanish on the documents professionally translated, which I find ironic when every form they use is produced in many different languages including Spanish.

In what state do you live.

It is an easy process

I stay at a hotel that is on the same road as the border crossing and a taxi can bring you straight there.

From there you drive it to the commercial crossing, where all the big trucks are and cross it there.

You will be given the Mexican ownership documents along with the customs documents and with that you can register the car in your state.

You will have to check with your state for specifics, but people bring in cars and trucks from Japan all the time so they should be familiar with the process.

Thanks

Miguel

So any tariffs due are not part of your asking price, right?
