And………………

Wow, that seriously is a hot back half!Seriously a 3.0 60 foot and 110 mph in the 1/8th is fuckin gettin it!!
You should be happy with it. It hauled *** and didn’t break. AND the engine was in pieces on your garage floor 3 days ago.The 112 pass it felt SLOW. I’m going to be overly critical of how it ran, but it’ll get sorted eventually.

I was nervous also and have no idea why. All the dumb crap we do and making a pass at Pomona was nerve racking. I don’t get it. After the first one though the nerves went away and it was game on.After some much needed sleep and some time for reflection. I had a killer time with my friends and family. Crazy to run 131 to the 1000’ on the street and not be bothered only to be a nervous wreck in the lanes. Cant wait for the next track day, next time I’m going with zero expectations. Check the A/F on the return road photo. Big yikes.

That looks good, boy that's seriously a full engine bay lol.Cutting up some old brackets to move the alternator to the drivers side. Gotta figure out how to get the plug in the alternator now, but it opens up a TON of room to build something and let the motor breathe cold air instead of being fed through the radiator. @TT5.9mag has been on me for awhile to do this. Finally decided to mess around and see what I could come up with. Couple spacers and clean up the scrap metal and I’ll be in business.

I love it. Now we need to get a 5” aluminum 90 on the turbo inlet. I have one we can fit.Cutting up some old brackets to move the alternator to the drivers side. Good, that's what I was thinking too.Had to shave down a bunch of nonsense on the back of the alternator, ditch the plug and use spade connectors, but otherwise it’s in. Eventually I may need to build a “Z” bracket to bolt to the block and alternator to stabilize it more. Few nuts, washers, and a belt otherwise it cost nothing but time.

I had a 60amp denso alternator mounted in almost the same spot, and had trouble keeping them alive. Voltage would drop after about 15 minutes at operating temp. New alternator every year(oreily lifetime came in handy). I hope you have better luck!
