You can always stop in at my place for pops and a bonfire (weather permitting), you're all more then welcome, all I needs is a heads-up, so I know who's or how many will come.

There are a few "bed & breakfest" in close proximaty, you can give those a try, they are listed on the site, .

Otherwise if all of you from out of town are looking for Motel rooms, try and all get together to get a group rate, save you all a few $.

You can pre-register on line, or if you PM me you mailing address I can mail you a form, but do it soon as the pre-register deadline is rapidly approaching (Aug. 1st). https://patt.ca/secureFiles/NEW_2009_Moparfest_order_form.htm.

Write in "FABO" in the additional information box of the form, to hopefully get you a spot in the reserve for clubs section.

Last year Randy, and I met at the new Timmys in Waterdown, then took the back way up(tall gears)
 
For a quick update, how many FABO members have pre-registered and requested a reserved "Club parking"? There has to be more of you out there wanting to "Represent".
How many have received it?
Who else is planning to attend?
A little over a month to go for the show, and pre-registration deadline is closer yet.

I like the backroads idea.Hope I can hookup for the cruise there!Where has Randy been?I,ve got a room at the Comfort Inn in Kitchener.I believe Moparwedden does also.More pops after Giles!
 
I have pregistered and got all my stuff, window card and wrist bands etc. The car just got painted Saturday the 11th. it looks good, now all i gotta do is fix the crappy running issue. Hope to be able to enjoy the drive down instead of blowing the car up half way there in frustration.

Hey Giles, Just got our Moparfest package yesterday! Complete with the winning ticket for a '73 Charger (hahaha) Also a mirror tag for club parking and wristbands. We are looking forward to meeting all you guys and gals. Think there'll be many from this club attending? I think all the clubs will be parking in the same general area ie:the baseball diamond so we'll have to look for the FABO section. Did you manage to get a banner? Hope so.

The intended parking area is the ball diamond, close to the beer tent, stage.
Mr.Mopartech was working on a banner for us.
Some of our club members (Old Chrysler Club) didn't like the idea of parking on the diamond, due to some dusty areas, so it might be moved.
Either way we all get to park as a group, this is the first year we are trying this, so we expect glitches and complaints are welcomed, as that's what we use to try and improve every year.
So far things are looking good, considering the registration forms were already being printed when the decision to try and park groups/clubs together was made.

So far we were thinking of something along the lines of writting down a club affiliation on your pre-registry sheet, then we could (hopefully) return your proof of registration, along with a club affiliation to hang off your mirror, therefore would be guided to specific area for your club.

Keeping in mind this is a non-profit show and we are all volunteering, so that we can all have a great weekend.

Those of you interested, can PM me, so I/we can have somekind of count as to how many spaces we would need.

Not ONE but TWO GIVE AWAY cars, this year, it's a milestone year.
One car for pre-registered participants, and the other for all who attend.

I have one of them also, he MrMopartech was working on making a large one, I can't remember what size exactly.
 
The site banner is made and if any can,t see it,go buy a chevy as there is no hope for you,mrmopartech

8-ish? What do you guys from Oakville do? Sleep the mourning away?
We always leave at 5 am.Just kidding. I like to leave Timmys in Waterdown at about 7-30. That way, we can grab breakfast at the show, before the crowds come. Is that too early?

I just registered. LATE. Let me know where you guys are going to be at. Don't you have to be there on Sunday to win the car?
 
Yes Vart, you must be present on Sunday to win the '68 Barracuda as the names are drawn and you pick a key, the key that starts the car wins the car. The other two, '73 Charger and '66 New Yorker you do not need to be present.

MtNemo knows this too well, his name was called last year.
Did you register for the FABO club parking ?

Yes hopefully there will be a spot......I called them to confirm (left a message). What time is the draw on Sunday? Can I bring my Magnum that day.
