Of all cars....the car I used to think was the worst thing I ever saw, was AN A BODY MOPAR I used to walk to elementary school in the mid-late 70s. There was a little beat up 60-62 Valiant or Lancer along the way. All I remember was thinking how terrible of a design it was every time I saw it...

Mine is a 63 Dart

I have a 63 convert manual top car. It was hit by a tree and I need a new top frame. Any ideas on which tops will work for this car? all 63-66 A bodies? Just Darts? Just certain years? Thanks in advance, Brent

Not sure it has to be 63 specific, but from what I can tell, I need one with the fixed bumper "hook" and the base has a specific shaped triangle pattern to fit the jack in. Like this I believe: Mopar Bumper Jack A Body 1963 1964 1965 Dodge Dart Valiant Plymouth Barracuda 65 | eBay

Hello, Looking for a correct bumper jack for early A (I have a 63 Dart convert). Need base, jack, tire iron, hold down items for spare, and spring I guess (for holding down the jack? I'm not sure--going off what I've seen in internet--I don't have so not sure). What do you have? Thanks, Brent

I just pump the crap out of the gas pedal while cranking. If you flood it, floor it and crank until it catches, then pump a little more as it gets going.

Sweet car! I've got the 3 on the tree in my 63, and a manual top, with no ps/pb. I dig your idea of the FM converter for period coolness. I found a neat converter on ebay that's either going in my Dart or Galaxie.

Looks like a neat little Val. That one picture of the sprayed on black stuff is a little scary though. How are the quarters? Also, with that back window open, hopefully it was covered--otherwise rear floors will be toast (guess how I know!) Pretty little ride--good luck!
