Well its been a long time since I've even visited the forum guys sorry about that! I still have my 66 Cuda, and I am planning on finishing the mechanical restoration soon. I will be needing some help I'm sure. Thanks in advance!
Ok i swapped an 8 1/4 rear end into my 66 Barracuda. The car was originally a slant car so it has the original driveshaft. I know it will have to be shortened but the shop i took it to has informed me it cannot be shortened because of the rubber sleeve that is inside. Are they full of Bs?
I have one that I took out of my 66 cuda. People on here say that the 66 came with the same center link v8 or /6. My car was a slant car so I hope somebody can enlighten us on whether is might work for you. I can take some pics of it tomorrow.
Thanks guys I have my engine in the car with the 273 mounts shimmed it just makes me nervous and would like to change but I don't want to spend the money on schumacher
The car has been sitting for a few years and I know nothing about it except its a /6 new mexico car. Its got some cancer on the driver quarter. Interior its complete but needs restoration. The car its real straight. My ? Is what its worth our what should I offer ?
Will this transmission be a worth while swap for my 66 cuda? I have an 86 model 360 engine that had a manual transmission behind it in the truck I got it from. I would be getting everything shifter and all.
A buddy of mine had some vandalism on his car recently. They busted out the passenger side rear hardtop quarter window. If you have one that will fit please answer this add with price and location. He really needs it before the rains start thanks!
