Well here goes..... I finally got my 2750 # 69 Dart out and made a couple of shake down runs a few weeks ago . I drove and lifted to a 1st time down the track 10:40 @116 . Next pass was a 9.75 @ 139.20 when I foot braked to around 3000 and kept my foot in it . Later in the day I went a 9.84...

I totally understand the business aspect of funny car racing . BUT , it`s sad to find that some people really think Force`s engine is a "Ford" , same with Larry Morgan`s new "Ford" . Really a rebadged prostock Hemi . Ford offers they engines in prostock in to flavours GM and Mopar to attract...

Find a copy of both the Mopar Performance / Direct Connection performance manuals . It`s spelled out word for word , part for part , what is required to go 9`s in an A-Body .

My motor has .750" and it has spray bars . The ally rockers will probably (prolly )be happier too . $0.02 Chryco

The cars light enough and has enough torque that it doesn`t need the extra gear . A pro built Glide is also thousands of dollars cheaper than a T/F . It`s also lighter in mass as well as less rotating mass. No over running clutch to blow up either. Chryco

Hi! I had the Dart out a couple of weeks ago at a test and tune and was fairly successful in getting things sorted out . Not bad , since the first outing netted me a cracked trans case . I got through the burnout and had problems staging due to a front end issue . Won`t make it out till next...
