Hi diymirage,
I am researching where to take my engine for rebuild and see a few years back you had some engine work done. Would you mind sharing where/who did the work and if you have been happy with how it turned out? I am just east of GR and hope to find a builder who favors mopars too...
Am I correct to assume there is no aftermarket gears that can be put in this rear axle? Could I just swap my current 7.25 gears? I have never played with the rear axle other than to replace the gasket and fluid.
I wanted to do the same as you. Spent about a year watching and reading about what was needed online. I finally got a 30? year old Juki with a walking foot for $250 about three years ago. From the person who used it in there daily job, and new everything about its history. Still have not used...
Thanks for the great info. Sorry if this is a silly question, but do I need to have an overflow tank too for this radiator? And is there anything special about the transmission line nipples? Were you able to use the old ones?
Thanks!
Thanks for the comments, and chuckles. Now that it was mentioned, vinyl may be a way to go too. The current paint job is nothing special, so I was thinking of just taping and spraying. But then it's a done deal. I will start looking for a local vinyl shop to see what it may cost. I want to add...

Thoughts?
Finished upgrading my rear suspension with a set of factory HD 6 leaf springs from another Barracuda project car. I replaced all the bushings, one set of U bolts, and replaced the front bracket with one that will lower the car. The end result, car sits at the same height as it did before I...
I posted that I had a very similar issue. I just returned from a test drive after replacing my drive shaft with a new slip yoke style... everything is smooth again. On the down side, my pocket is $435 lighter, but I hope to never have to worry about that again.
On my 65 barracuda, I found dimples on the floor pan that matched my other car with belts from the factory. I have some pictures and info on my site... Blog.dalerichardson.com
I had the same issue 2 years ago and it took me a while to figure out that the 904 changed in 66. Every where I looked I was getting the wrong seals because it seems most 904 parts are for the 66 and up versions. I finally had to buy a set from eBay. Try t'flight patty's shop mart or email...
