Battery terminal on relay... I was thinking maybe the relay as when I bought at chain store it said made in china....didn't even think it could be heat soaked....or just plain bad...

Weird issue that popped up after new cam install. After getting all broke in I shut it down to do several checks....went to restart and acted like battery was almost dead...ie clicking starter. Checked voltage and was fully charged....so I jumped at the relay and fired right up...anyone else...

I will add what worked for me.....I simply used a 5/16-18 tap in the tube and tapped a half inch or little more...with a bottoming tap...as it will bring 99% of the chips out of which there is hardly any.....then I used a 5 or 6 inch long 5/16 bolt with a couple of deep sockets over it and used...

I just bit the bullet and went with the insert from Fast Lane West....bought my own gages and added turn and high beam led lights.....

I agree with 273....I had a 69 Dart with headers....there was a small exhaust leak and it would sound like a lifter....bought a new set of gaskets and viola...tick went away....and yes mine was intermittent ...basically got noisier the warmer the car got... Hate to say it...good sound but too...

Use castrol superclean...soak overnight and it will remove everything...I have a post on here somewhere about it...and when you are done using it...filter it back into the jug and it still works....the coating on the bezel will just deteriorate right off... here is a thread with a couple pics I...
