Just because you can rebuild a salvaged vehicle does not mean you get a "clean" title back. In Oklahoma any vehicle that has been totaled has either a Junk non-rebuildable title or a Salvage rebuildable title. When a salvage title vehicle is repaired it comes back as an orange repaired vehicle...

I went with the Schumachers also. I'm not a big racer and wanted the easiest, most simple setup. They are excellent quality and have good clearance. The tri-y's do have to be modified for a 4-speed car.

Unless you like to hear a lot of clunking noise while driving, I would suggest against the cal-tracs. I have them with the mono's on my 67 and they make a lot of noise. Also, I haven't tried it, but from what I understand you don't want to drive them on the street in "race" trim with the bars...

Well I don't know if mine counts as "Super" or not, but at the salvage yard I work at the owners brother has a 1970 Hurst 300H sitting out here rotting away. Used to be a complete car but now it's been picked over and has about 30 years of weathering on it.

I bought a brand new tank and new sender from an aftermarket company last year and my first problem was the sending unit wouldn't seal tightly and leaked so I had to use my old original gasket and lock ring to get a good seal. Second problem is the false fuel level reading, I think I'm about 5...

My 67 Dart has a 440, 4-speed with lakewood bellhousing and Schumacher headers and mounts. I had my z-bar modified to fit around the header, you could also have the header modified to fit around the z-bar. Buying hydraulic would be the most expensive of the options. I have a complete hydraulic...
