[WANTED] In Need of a Door Glass Driver side 1973 Dodge Dart Swinger

I'm assuming that the driver's window for the Dart Swinger is different from that of the Dart Sport. Can anyone confirm that? Thx

[WANTED] In Need of a Door Glass Driver side 1973 Dodge Dart Swinger

I have a line on one that I hope to pick up next weekend. If that falls through, I'll follow up with other contacts. Thanks all. BTW, That's good info on swapping regulators in case I need to use later glass.

[WANTED] In Need of a Door Glass Driver side 1973 Dodge Dart Swinger

Thanks to the vandals that broke windows on several vehicles in my neighborhood, I'm also looking for the same glass. Please PM me if you know of a driver's side window for a 73 Dart Swinger for sale with shipping to SoCal. This is the large one-piece window. Feeling the summer breeze in...

    What carb on a 318?

I too rebuilt my Carter BBD but couldn't fix my cold start problems and decided to look to alternatives. So I swapped my BBD for a Holley 2300 2 barrel and am pleased so far. This one didn't bolt right up and needed an adapter. I've read posts of others using a Mr Gasket #1937 but I found a NLA...

    904 rebuild question?

I'll second that on the rebuild manual. I tore down my 904 and put it back together with that manual for my first auto tranny rebuild. I bought a rebuild kit and a shift kit and have been driving that around for the last year with no problems.

    Power steering gear box

I bought a kit from Rock Auto to rebuild the unit in my 73 Swinger. It was leaking big time so I had to do something and didn't want to spring for a rebuilt unit. Pay very close attention to the order and orientation of all the pieces as they come apart. There's a lot of pieces that are easy...

    A-904 Throttle Pressure Adjustment

I chanced on a Miller copy of the tool and thought I would report back that the business end measures .632 inches. A shade over 5/8 inch which I'll be double checking the next time I drop the pan. It's been bugging me not knowing and hope the info on this dimension helps someone else in the...

Federal PS pump pulley for a small block

I've learned just enough on FABO to recognize a Federal pump when I see one but am still a bit confused on pulleys. I'm looking for a replacement stock pulley for my 73 Dart 318 and see at least three different styles. I've seen pulleys for what I think are for the slant 6, small block, and...

    318 Main Seal Leak Question

I just did this as well. All I did was to drop the center link and the stock exhaust to get clear access to the pan.

A-Body Heaterbox compatioble to other mopars

I'm fitting an earlier A -body heater box into my 73 Dart and have found that the later controls won't work. My 73 controls only activate 2 cables while the box has 3 flaps so I'm adapting the earlier controls. Other than that, the box fits ok.

    Heater box dilemma

Thanks for the input. I actually have both early and late controls but like the way the early controls work. I'll have to see how they might fit into my late dash and then factor in the bezel as well.

    Heater box dilemma

I decided to convert my 73 Dart Swinger from AC to heat only so have been searching the forums and have discovered a lot of helpful info but now I’m stuck. I picked up a heater box reportedly from a 69 Dart and realized that it has three control doors. Temperature, shut-off, and defrost. That...

    Clogged intake manifold

Thanks all for the input. I used my gas powered pressure washer to clean it out initially and was amazed at how much crap was in there. The hard deposits are left now and am doing the poking and scraping thing to get that cleaned out. The heads are coming off next since the matching exhaust...

    Clogged intake manifold

I pulled the stock iron 2bbl intake manifold off of my 73 318 LA engine and found the exhaust gas crossover clogged. I used a pressure washer to blow a bunch of stuff out but am tempted to remove the plate on the bottom to get better access. The plate is attached with what looks like two large...

    Pin hole in frost plug!Dang!!!

I had a pin hole in one of my freeze plugs on the front of the driver's side head until I poked at it with a screw driver. That sucker opened right into a gaping hole because the metal had thinned from corrosion on the inside.
