Lowes had it on sale so I looked around for stainless tool chests and couldn't find anything under $1000. Craftsman had there model close to what I bought for $1440 in which it didn't have as many drawers!

I bought this for $860 (reg price $1057) and they throw in a free Kobalt 173pc tool kit. Its 41"W and 64"H. I just couldn't pass this deal up. I went to Lowes to check it out on Friday and when I got there someone had already bought one just like it. They had it on the cart waiting for them to get their vehicle. So I looked at the one they had for display thinking it was really nice. I said to myself "Maybe later" and went about my business. Well Saturday morning I awoke with it on my mind. I did some more shopping online and just couldn't find one like that for the price. I went to Lowes and they had already sold the display!! I bought the last one they had and found out that the other Lowes in town had sold all of theirs except their display model. With them selling that fast I feel like I got a deal more than I would normally.

Sweet that is the one I always wanted. Congrats on the great deal. I wonder if they have a new one coming out?

Very nice! Looks good sitting by that fresh painted wall!!

Yeah the walls are still clean right now. lol

I have ALL my tools inside that sucker and still have plenty of room. I couldnt believe I got all my tools in there. Some are junky tools that really need to through in the trash. I have four 3/8" drive ratchets. lol

That is what I was thinking. They have one bigger than the one I have. It has a refrigerator and radio. They want $1800 for it however.

I was amazed how high tool chests are. Stuff like this is ridiculously priced. Ever price Snap On tools? Geezzz. My feelings aren't hurt that I don't own Snap On. lol

I am going to build my own work bench made out of steel, wood, and stainless steel. It will be much stronger, built to fit me, and bigger for the same amount that I can buy one of these cheap work benches.

Thanks guys!

I first thought it looked like a kitchen appliance! I like it and the power strip on the side could be very useful.

Dang! It does look like a appliance of some sort! lol

Especially with that cord still tied up to the handle. I had not noticed until you mentioned that.

Looks Great. Have fun filling it up.

Looks like a great deal!
Now let's see if it will hold up a car, like in the Johnson/Knaus commercial. :D

Nice new addition to your Man Cave !!! I too had looked at the one with the fridge and stereo, but figured I already have sound, and the wife had a small fridge that she was bringing home from work so I was set !!Now you're ready for the Naked women posters !!! If you're interested in some old posters of Direct Connection Women, holler,I think I may still have them rolled up in a tube somewhere in my garage !!Hell, they may even be laminated !!

Nice Marland, looks good in that new shop. Their is some good Christmas deals going on right now. I even took advantage, yesterday I bought myself a new laptop and a new camera. I might have to go take a pic of the Valiant!

Nice looking "tool condo"! I've seen those at the local Lowe's and, like you, amazed at the current price of tool chests. I'm still using my old Craftsman tool box and rollaway I bought 30+ years ago - at a MUCH lower price than they are now. Like anything of quality, they'll last forever if you take care of them.

Looking good! Those are dang nice boxes and tools too! You got a good deal there. tmm

I would consider that a great compliment coming from Tool Man considering that he he has a truck load of real expensive ones that he sells.

Ok. It looks nice..... too nice. Time to get it full of greasy fingerprints. You didn't buy it just to look at it. Now git 'er dirty! :D

Yeah... I'm jealous too. :headbang:

Thanks guys!

Don't say the word grease to loud. I'm trying to keep any type of oil out of the shop until I get the floor covered. I called Legacy floor systems today and NO ONE answered except of course a voicemail! I hung up. Anyways I have a few questions about their product.

Sherwin-Williams has a nice product for the floors too !!That's what I used on my Garagemahall floor !!!

That would be too much if it had an electric grill on top! Very nice. I was checking Snap-On's site and they have a "kit" that's $19,*** bucks. Yikes!

I don't get it but in away I do for paying that much for a tool box. When someone buys a pair of Nike shoes they aren't buying the shoe they are buying the name. Walk over in the cheap shoe area and compare the Nike to the cheap shoe and the both have the same quality. Give or take a little of course.
