LOL... I'll take honesty over anything else!!! As I mentioned above, if it's an ugly girl, then nobody notices who is looking..... It's also in our genes to be the "good guy" and protect like a Disney hero.... LOL. The young girl was probably more embarrassed that this was pointed out and that she was the center of attention than the guy being "called" out. Think she cared about an old man starring ONLY that she will never see again? Just sayin, I would step up if something uncomfortable was being said, or physical contact, or following around, but an old man looking at the counter??? ok... LOL...

now that I re-read, I think the younger girl could have been flirting with the OP. From what I understand the OP is quite a looker.

I had a relative that as he aged, he lost his inhibitions with attractive young girls. Went grocery shopping with him and left him to look for his own buys, found him later and he was "talking into the microphone planted on a very endowed and pretty young woman's boobs". She thought it was the funniest thing that ever happened to her and loved it. She was laughing her head off. I was so embarrassed. Never left him alone in public after that.

some people are SICK. worked at place once, a customer that was there everyday gave himself the nickname "Hottie" !! he was fat, ugly, and probably mid late 60's. The assumption of this thread is that young girls don't like old men. There are times that is far from the truth.
I know of cases where younger girls find older men adorable and they are definitely a change of pace from the younger guys who ....lets face it, act like morons half the time.
If she was laughing and having a great time with it then there is a chance she was into it.
Its a fine line and girls have to be careful because sometimes any little thing a girl says or does can be mis-read and she looks bad, but sometimes there are girls who wait for the opportunity to lay the flirt on thick without looking bad.....if that makes sense

When women are in those prime years (18-30), they are the best looking that they will ever be.... It's all down hill after that. All guys like to look at them.
All of the women "their age" are old and wrinkled and not too pleasing to look at. That's why old men stare at young women.... And wish that they can be that young again..... It's better than looking at the old hag their own age....

theres nothing wrong with looking. when it goes beyond that and is not consensual is when it becomes a problem. ladies in thier 20's and 30's can be very pleasing to the eyes. what is scary is when a young teen gets dolled up and looks far older than she really is. to the unsuspecting eye , they don't know the difference. to an old guy , he may find himself looking at a 13 year old thinking she is 25. so whos really to blame there? if it were my teenager, she would not be leaving the house looking like a 28 year old, but that's just me.

that is the parents fault ....I have seen that too. Kids now a days are mutated because you go to middle school now and the boys are already 6 feet tall and the girls have better lady features than a grown woman.
Parents need to be aware of what is going and take action accordingly or they are just asking for trouble.

Agreed Rani, the problem is they are influenced by their peers. If they choose to hang out with less than scrupulous kids their own age, they tend to follow them no matter what parents say. We know all too well, we raised three girls.

Not just peers.... gotta include TV, Magazines, Victoria Secrets, etc. etc.! Face it, bodies and "suggestive" apparel are everywhere and the style! Teenage girls see it, and no matter what Mom & Dad say, they are going to live in their time. Hip hugger jeans, thongs poking out the top, low cut shirts,.......... Personally, i like the looks of a good looking older woman over a younger one.
In fact, sometimes i see a mother/daughter combo walking in a store and the mother is a lot better looking than the daughter.
I'm 52 and some of the women i went to school with are a lot better looking to me now than when we were say 18 years old. A lot of them that were ''hot'' back in the day are pretty homely now and visa versa.
As far as looking, there isn't really any harm in looking, it's human nature. And women check out men as much as men check out women.
I live in an area of my city where there is a university close by. There are a lot of good looking teen agers and early twenty year olds shopping or working at the stores near by.
Sure, i've checked them out, but i don't stare or do anything inappropriate at all. And you know what, some of them check me out and even flirt with me time to time. No harm done.
Where i draw the line is when people stare, approach, say inappropriate things, touch themselves, lewd gestures, etc. to the point of embarrassing or offending someone. And anyone under 18 is strictly off limits under any circumstances.
Just because someone checks someone else out, it doesn't mean they are a pervert.
It's how they conduct themselves in the situation after the initial ''viewing'' will determine that.

I disagree with this. I work in a place that houses these perverts and the majority of them are quite ones that prey on these people and wait for them to be alone in a aisle or wherever. I've heard first hand from these predators their stories and what ended up putting them in Prison. They certainly were not the people calling the others out. They didnt want the attention on them.
I dont see anything wrong with what Doug did, we only heard what the other guy did. Seeing it in person, and perhaps his body language and blatant starring was the reason Doug said what he did. Sadly we live in a world were most the people would rather turn and look away than actually speak up and defend someone or come to their rescue.
