Hence why I plan to with the Trick Flow heads.

A couple of other things about the Trick Flows - They're already clearance for 3/8"
pushrods and part of their better port shape was achieved by re-routing the oil feeds
to the rocker arms.

Anybody have "Stage VI" flow numbers.
Just for comparison sakes....

If i had the money i would like to seta set to test againts my Indy EZ heads. mine had some very mild bowl port done and are soposed to flow 310 at .0600 lift.

In looking up a lot of wedge head flow numbers for comparison it is hard not to notice
how strong the exhaust numbers are on the Trick Flows compared to almost anything
else but the very best ported aftermarket heads.....and then they are equal or better.

I think that is why in browsing available camshafts there is generally a significant bias
towards dual-pattern grinds with much more aggressive numbers on the exhaust side
to compensate for the weaker flow rates. I believe that with the Trick Flows, possibly
a single pattern cam may be all that is necessary and I am willing to wait for some of
these heads to be tested on dyno mules as I'm sure they will be as soon as possible.

After reading through the data here and elsewhere, two words: Game Changer.

Per Trick Flow. Out of the box, ready to go including springs and all other hardware
for under two grand.

Can't wait to hear of some real-world experiences with these.

Trick Flow Powerport 240 matching intake - I hope they make a low-deck version too.

I wonder what the difference is between te trick flow intake and the victor, appearance wise they look identical

But so far, Summit does not "have" them and there is no ETA.....unless I missed something, so far these heads are just images on the internet and in the Summit book. Right?

I hope these really do make it to market. sounds pretty damn awesome. HUGE bonus is that they dont need offset rockers. I can keep my $800 rockers i already have.

So do I. It would be one more option whereas the Chevy boys have so many you can sink a battleship with them. Maybe this will encourage other companies to be competitive as well.

They are actually in the catalog. They haven't made it onto the website yet but I called yesterday and the sales rep was able to pull them up on their end with the part numbers. She said they should be on the website any day.

well for anyone interested, I have a 10% off code for summit that expires on april 26 if your interested, or gonna make a big purchase on something like these heads...

those flow numbers look pretty impressive. not that far off of my welded and ported Indy S/R's and probably don't need the stupid offset intake rockers.
cant wait to see what happens when someone actually gets a set on a motor.

Thanks Old Man MoPar! A few cfm is all the separates these B heads. Price is the big issue.
I choke everytime I see the CNC Stage VI heads price through the MP catalog.

Well, I'm ready to pull the trigger the instant they are available.

Waiting on release .... block and stroker kit at the machinists right now .... waiting on cam being ground ...... DTM :D

Yes I do. Here are the last STG VI heads we did. We had to work our butts off because someone else messed with them before they were sent to us.

Lift...........STG VI OOTB...........as received.................IN/EX

.100.........66/58...........................69/59.....................76/60
.200.......124/115........................121/117..................156/136
.300.......175/149........................179/170..................222/188
.400.......206/156........................234/218..................275/225
.500.......226/162........................275/242..................310/256
.600.......236/165........................299/256..................338/280
.700.......240/168........................295/262..................344/297

They did pretty good on the exhaust but the work on the intake side was pretty sketchy.

Well, since all I'm going to do is take them out of the box and put them on my street driver
(nobody will be "working their butts off" on these), I feel pretty good.
