Stop in for a cup of coffee

Wow, That's a lot. Are paint job's that expensive out there.

Included the bodywork needed, and everything. I think regular price here at most workshops are around $100-120 an hour.

My wife's 06 Daytona, 12000-15000 for just the paint job, no bodywork at all. And none of the decals.

That is how it goes with the highest salaries, then the cost goes up too, and California is not really so famous for it's low taxes either.

And for my car it was half of the doors painted, from the moulding and down.

Well, the original steering wheel made it quite a bit easier to steer than the mini steering wheel. But, as the picture shows, I will probably not look so much at it when driving.

engine oil

I found this link. It is a little old, but I found the description of the Viscosity interesting. However, for the cars we are in this forum for it is not at all too old.

An nice synopsis of the labelling history. Sadly lacking citations.
IMO, the best overview of gasoline engine oil properties for those of us not in tribology is Widman's.
And for those involved with or interested in racing engines, A.E. Haas's white paper on viscosity, temperature and volumetric flow is very worthwhile too.

There are links to both on my website or I can copy here if you'ld like.

Not sure what the profile messages are for but at some point I noticed what ever we type there shows up under our name.
(If someone else types stuff there, it just is there, and you probably don't even know it!)

The name was a play on the Chrysler ad, and the .org related to my goal for developing training and support for preservation. Basically what we were doing in the Delaware Water Gap NRA

Watching the news, flooding in a town about 50 miles away. Frazzle ice is blocking flow of the red river. i went over the river on tuesday, its just like spring, the river breaches the banks every few years- in spring...
