Well the sister and BIL are on the road, snowed a bunch for here, like a foot. I'm glad he knows how to drive in it, nice tires on that 3500. He's carrying a hood to Lapine OR, I drove that hood from Denver to Oak Harbor so it's really going to have some highway miles on it when it reaches it's final destination lol!

Sadly it has warmed up to almost ten below. I can’t put it off any longer. Out to the shop I go. Attached is a all American pix for poor Mitch only days away from freedom. Thinking of ya buddy! Nothing but pure health food on a cold winters day up here on the Tundra. And yes of course that is bacon grease!

Shoveled off the front steps for the umpteenth time this winter. Came back in to warm up.
And i plan on building a heavy bench, for anvils and three different size pipes to roll sheet metal over.
Up to 3 deg here this afternoon. All but one well not froze up, water legs on treaters mostly. think I'll make some soup to warm up.
I cleared the snow off my neighbor's and my driveway with the snow blower....
As soon as I get inside she calls me and then my younger son tried to call me....
Sorry, I need 5 - 10 minutes to catch my breath after that... Plus had to warm up, it's 12° out there and it goes through my gloves....
I tried my new long john bottoms out and they are very tight, I won't try them again, barely was able to peel them off..

Not too cold here at 26*, but we have the worst kind of precipitation...freezing rain.
Everything is covered in about 1/8” ice right now and more coming overnight. The driveway, walkways and sidewalks are like ice skating rinks. It might as well be an inch thick, the traction is the same.
Salt is in short supply this year and more ice is predicted later this week, so I’m trying to conserve my inventory and only put enough down to get out the front door and over to the front lawn and walk in the snow when the dog need to go out.

Ice is the worst. Taking out power and causing bad crashes.
the last ice storm parked everything. Imagine the highway sanding trucks not moving due to the dangerous conditions. Whats needed is trucks that apply sand out the front. Buddy at the municipal public works was driving backwards to apply sand.

Hello everyone. Hope all is well. Arm is still sore after the cortisone shot. Laying low as much as possible. Rebuilt an 850 DP just for the shelf as a spare. Cold here and not venturing out unless necessary.
We're at 6° right now heading down to -6° by midnight...
