    1971 Plymouth Duster Washington State

The sale fell through, the car is back up for sale. $1,800.

    1971 Plymouth Duster Washington State

UPDATED PRICE: $1,800 OBO. Willing to trade partially for tools, or small block Chevy parts (don't throw tomatoes at me). I picked up a 81' El Camino, which is my current project. Make me an offer! At best, you can look at it like this: you are buying a fresh 8.8 axle and springs, a 5 x 4.5...

    8.8 swap

I also used 3" u bolts and a C clamp. It worked just fine.

The axle, from a year or so ago, and another for the car.

    1971 Plymouth Duster Washington State

Located In Westport, Washington. It has taken me several years to consider this, but now is the time. I've owned this 71' Duster since the summer of 2001. I purchased it from a friend while in high school. I have not worked on it much since my child was born in 2011, and I have another on the...

What do you guys think about the Grand Cherokee w/ 5.7 Hemi?

This is the one I'm looking at online. Strange that the price went up $488 since this morning. I thought it was supposed to go the other way...

What do you guys think about the Grand Cherokee w/ 5.7 Hemi?

I forgot they sold these with a diesel for two years. I'm assuming that's a Mercedes Diesel? That'd be nice, but not worth the $7k premium used compared to the Hemi. I wouldn't make that price difference up in gas mileage.

What do you guys think about the Grand Cherokee w/ 5.7 Hemi?

I would LOVE that, but it's out of my price range, and I really want a 4x4 I can take off road. I know you can with the SRT, but i'd want to baby it :) Originally, the plan was to buy a 4 door Wrangler, but they cost so much, even with 100k miles!

What do you guys think about the Grand Cherokee w/ 5.7 Hemi?

My wife's car is an Audi A4, so very similar to your Passat. That car will be fine for the most part with two baby seats, but it's just not going to happen in the Civic. The major problem is that we are both 6', so one of us can't bite the bullet and get our knees scrunched. She has longer legs...

What do you guys think about the Grand Cherokee w/ 5.7 Hemi?

Any of you have any experience with them? The family will be expanding in May, and it's time that my Civic gets sold to another family. I've been looking at all sorts of cars and trucks, but the Grand Cherokee's, around 05', 06' and 07' or so are real tempting. Right now I've been looking at...

    Judge Mills' 1971 Plymouth Duster

Looking back, it appears I didn't document what I've been doing the last 8 months. I didn't work on it a whole lot, but I did replace all the brake lines and hoses. I did buy some pre-bent stuff, which I had to re-bend and cut. In retrospect, I should have just bought a roll of line and done it...

    Judge Mills' 1971 Plymouth Duster

Looks like it's been a while since I updated. Pulled the trigger around a month ago and ordered a driveshaft. It just arrived today. I measured probably 15 times, and it looks like I did it right! I was real nervous about ordering a shaft, especially from clear cross the country, and wit a mopar...

This is what 36hrs overtime got me!

NICE! I usually have to "burn" my overtime. I'll drag my Duster up to your place when I need some panels welded! ha!

2015 Barracuda concept -vs- the very first 1969 M-Code 'Cuda?

That's a concept by a guy that thinks this is what the car will look like. If you follow predictions, some are wildly wrong, while others kinda get it right. Seeing how Fiat doesn't even know what they are building yet, I highly doubt this is the final product. There's always a chance, but if...

egr? to eddy rpm intake match up on a LA318?

That riser for a heat choke hits that fuel line. I was insanely mad about it. I'd recommend just buying some flex line. :)

egr? to eddy rpm intake match up on a LA318?

If you buy the Edelbrock Performer carb and buy the banjo fuel line from Edelbrock, you'll have to machine down that little tower on the passenger side. I just did it today :) Before: After:

    What y'all think? Worth it?

Wow, he'd junk that? Some people are incredibly lazy.

It's just getting funny at this point... *sarcasm*

Took the grinder to the heat riser. Success! Thanks for the kick in the butt, guys. I needed it.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that had this problem. I was thinking I was just cursed! Thanks.

Possibly. I was worried shavings would go everywhere. Would you just use a regular grinder?
  27. J

It's just getting funny at this point... *sarcasm*

Yeah, it would hit the carb.. It's all Edelbrock. Carb is a Performer Series, as is the intake. The line is made for the carb. I guess they assume if you buy the low end Performer intake, you are just using rubber hose. I thought about maybe running a carb spacer, but I think I'd have to trim...
