Mine is having the same issue and now that I've worked on the carb it seems my Accel coil is causing this fail. My 383 truck had the same issue when the coil killed over. The Accels I've had all failed quickly. Black factory Mopar ones do perfect.

I've got a 340 Torker 2 on my mild 318 and it SUCKS on the street. Will be going to a new intake once my other odds and ends are fixed. It has no balls under 3000rpm and my engine will only turn about 5400rpm before I see the valve coming through the hood.

I opened the crimped line back up and it still does the same thing. It is indeed venting the tank as it should from that line but still no change. I have another fuel filter to put on tomorrow. If this doesnt cure it, a full fuel system replacement is going to be in order with a mechanical pump...

Im going to change the fuel filter at my pump as well as get it to do the die at idle and see if I have fuel pressure. I don't see why it could lose pressure only at idle.

I did the gas cap trick and it worked like a charm. I believe I'm going to go to a vented cap. I don't like the idea of the tank vent that comes out by my headers.

My Dart didn't have it when I got mine. Previous owner had removed it. Seems to be no issue but if you overfill the car with gas, mine pukes gas out of the line that used to go to the canister. Not a good situation.

Very very sweet, I have a Savage .22-250 that absolutely dominates everything from coyotes to full grown whitetails. Savage makes a great weapon! Though I prefer my AR or AKs...had the same thing happen to me as well, decided to keep the gun and get rid of the girl though!
