Then and now...

i ground down the lip on the strut rod and welded a new lip about 3/8 inch back. Then I threaded the rod as far down as I could. This was need because I couldn't pull the LCA far enough forward to get the alignment correct.

I may be having a brain fart moment here, but can someone tell me how to separate the turn signal cancelling cam from the turn signal switch in a 68 barracuda?

I'm thinking this may be the issue. upon closer inspection, it appears the drivers wheel is set back compared to the passenger. Will have to make some time to take some measurements.

I redid the front end with new bushings a few years back. I did not do the lower control arms. By the sounds of it I will need to replace the driver torsion bar as well. It is cranked way in compared to the passenger side and still not able to accomplish the ride height I am looking for.

Anyone know if someone makes an aftermarket gas gauge that works with the factory sending unit for a 68 cuda? I found out today that an off-the-shelf at the autoparts store is not accurate at all. yup, out of gas.

for some odd reason my temp and oil gauges are pegging out at operation. disconnect them and they drop to zero. I'm being told that they are grounding out, but I can't find anything. both sending units are new, and are for gauges, not idiot lights. Help is greatly appreciated.

Normally if you have a 3 speed motor, two speed switch you get one speed and no park function, same applies with a two speed motor and a 3 speed switch, one speed, no park, meaning it parks where ever you turn it off at. My problem with this is that there is no OFF. Just keeps moving.

My motor looks like the 3 speed. Is it possible to just put in a 3 speed switch?

Having a bit of the same problem. I did not have a motor so I bought a used one. Now my wipers are low-high-low. No off. If I had to guess, I think I have a 3 speed wiper motor and a 2 speed switch. Anyone agree/disagree?
