[WANTED] What Santa didn't bring me

63 GT front hood medallion - 2276-947 (that's in parts book, but I've also seen the GT emblem being sold as 2276-942 on here and eBay. 63 GT passenger side C-Pillar medallion - 2422-632. The drivers side is 2422-633. I have this, but if you had the set I would consider. The "E letter for 63...

    67 Barracuda

Hello all, Looking still at trying to buy a driver quality Barracuda. I came across this one, but this fender tag scares me to death. I'm trying to figure out how this fender tag got on the car. It appears to be from a Camaro or a Chevelle. Or possibly a Buick. Rest of the car looks legit...

    Original 63 gear set?

Hello all. I have my diff cover off my 63 GT. To the untrained eye I don't see any issues. If I'm reading numbers correctly I believe this is the original gear set from 1963, and is 2.93. Do you guys see any concerns that I should look at before sealing it back up? Thanks!

    63 Dart conversion question

Converting the front drums to discs this week. 63 Dart GT. Original single jar MC, so no distribution valve or proportioning valve in the car. Staying with manual brakes, I have my dual MC installed and ready to do lines. I bought this kit from Inline tube that came with a distribution...

    Wheel alignment

So I'm doing a front disc conversion on my 63 GT. Keeping control arms stock but changing the upper and lower bushings and strut rod bushings. I'll definitely need an alignment. I've read some other posts. Looks like -.5 camber and +2.5 caster with minimal toe is about right. Any input on...

    New starter

Has anyone put a new starter on an early Dart without any drama? The one I bought was for an early 90's Dakota. Both wires coming off the starter relay are too short to reach the new terminals, and the black wires connector won't even fit over the new starters stud if it was long enough. Most...

    Windshield washer jar setup

I'm doubting this, but would a windshield washer system been optional in 63? I can find no evidence in my 63 Dart GT that one ever existed. I assume if it did the system would have been one of those bags with a floor pump inside. Any ideas on adding one? Would love to see what the factory...

    Correct seat belt style 1963

Hello. My 63 Dart GT didn't come with seat belts, and has made it to 2021 still without them. I want to add some simple lap belts to the car. It looks like in 64 the correct style would have been a lift latch according to one site that only sells belts for 1964 and newer. Another site that...

    Radiator in 63 Dart GT

Hey guys, Can anyone give me any info on this radiator number? 2082174 I also have a seven blade fan, also not correct for the car. According to parts book original radiator would have been 2276826 with a four blade fan. Since this isn't the original radiator there's no reason to spend money...

    Newbie - 63 Dart GT

Hello. Been on B bodies only for along time, finally taking my first dive into an A body. My 63 Dart GT is a CA car, never left the state till now, even built in LA. Needs a heater core. Was bypassed when I bought it, was told because they didn't need a heater in CA. Well that wasn't...

73 Charcoal canister to 1406 carb

So I've read some old posts on this and still a bit confused as to the best way to do this. 1. The fuel tank line will stay connected to the 1/4 inch metal line coming up from gas tank. 2. The purge line can run to the drivers side manifold vacuum or i guess to any manifold vacuum...

Carter stock fuel pump to Edelbrock carb

So I'm wanting to keep my Carter fuel pump with the 5/16th stock outlet and connect it to my new Edelbrock 1406 carb with a 3/8th connection. Edelbrock sells a universal kit, Edelbrock 8135, but the price is nuts for 2 feet of fuel line, a few clamps, some fittings, and a filter I won't even...

    EGR bypass?

So my 73 currently has EGR, which leads me to the Edelbrock 1400 carb to sit on the new Edelbrock 3776 intake. I'm concerned with this "fuel economy" carb, especially it only having timed vacuum. I've been told full vacuum is recommended for the ignition advance. So if I just bought a 2176...

    Best 318 headers

Hey guys. First post here, came over from the Dodge Charger forum. They treat 318's like grocery getters over there so hoping to find more help here. My 318 is about to come out of my 73 Charger. Rear main seal, new cam, and some other upgrades coming. Will ask for advise in the proper...
