Thats what they were designed for. Aluminum parts in the aircraft industry didn't hold threads very long so they developed heli coils. They work great but don't forget to snap off the tang with pliers after its installed.

A friend of mine does hydraulics and it was cheaper than the as the B&M braided stuff so I thought what the hell.

I was going to go with the next size down but the fittings looked a little small on the inside diameter. These ones should flow well and the fittings are hydraulically pressed on so no leaks. Its over kill for sure but I hate leaks and doing things twice lol.
