impact of modern muscle cars on the old car market

After 30 years of owning classic muscle, last year I left all of that behind and ordered a 2018 Challenger Scat Pack, exactly that way I wanted it. I have zero regrets. My neighbor kid (20 years old), doesn't give a damn at all about old muscle. All he cares about is boost, bagging and a...

Many New Cars Have No Spare Tires

A spare was a $295 option on my 2018 Scat Pack. In fact, the lack of spare tires has created new businesses like... Performance Spare

My new, 2018 Challenger Scat Pack is finally here.

The mustang is my wife's car, and no, we didn't trade it in. It's an 07, GT, 5 Speed. She loves it.

    Scat Pack Cars

In the new cars, it's a different but similar theme. Low option big engine. Although most option them up, defeating the purpose. In its l least expensive form, a modern Scat Pack has cloth interior, the standard audio system, and standard equipment similar to the least expensive model.

My new, 2018 Challenger Scat Pack is finally here.

That's one of the cool things about ordering one, the window sticker has your name on it. My wife has her Mustang GT and I have my Challenger.

Sadly, the 392ci cars with a manual transmission get hit with that tax.

Real reason for the X on the X heads

I have posted pics of my early build 68 Formula S 340 heads here in the past. My heads are X heads without the X. The casting number under the valvecover doesn't lie. So this story is completely believable.

    Little street terror.

I agree with you but, I do one small burn out in 5 years and it's the end of the world... I daily drive a slow as hell, non-turbocharged Subaru, my wife complains that I drive like an old man, I never drive more than 5 mph over, I haven't had a ticket in 30 years, and it was a dead end street...

lol, I get your point but I'm not really that kind of guy. I believe Johnny to be an honest buyer and I'm trying to be an honest and responsible seller.

    Little street terror.

I have done 1 burn out and driven the car 3 miles during the time we have been finalizing the deal. You are a good guy so I'm not going to argue about this.

So, has anyone ever seen one of these before???...

That's just the standard clock. The cable is for adjusting the time. The post is for powering the clock, the clock is illuminated by the dash lights. It's the same clock that is in my car.

Sorry you feel that way Johnny. I thought you would appreciate knowing that it's a solid car that isn't going to explode the moment it comes off the trailer.

    Little street terror.

So how wide is an E70-14 If you call doing a little burnout on skinny tires, beating on it..... the buyer asked me to make a couple videos of it running and how it sounds. This is the reality of an E70-14. The car didn't even hit the rev limiter (yes it has a rev limiter). The shock...

What Are You Doing To/With Your Car Today?

Although not as exciting as some posts, I got the correct colored plates, for 1968, registered to my 1968 Barracuda. I have been wanting to do this for years. I had the yellow background with blue letter plates before. They were the mid 70s plates here in Oregon. Now I'm just waiting for...

    Ordered a new Challenger today.

The manual Scat Pack is hit with the gas guzzler tax, the 8 speed auto is not. I independently verified this before ordering. The 8 gallons of additional fuel is also normal on these.

I will let you decide what to put on your car, but yes, a quality vinyl stripe is reasonably easy to remove, normally with something as simple as a hairdryer.
