Want to use a nice 67 cuda dash in a 70 dart. It has full wiring harness. But I have nothing for under the hood. Do I use a 67 to 69 engine harness and body harness to match the dash or can I keep all the 70 wiring under the hood and to the back of the car?

i believe they are 3/8 -16 thread with 1/ 2 inch head.

i disagree idaho. base clear is harder to repair, espialyy if his problems were in the base coat.

yea, that rail needs to be replaced! if you look through my 70 fm3 duster build, you will see alot of pics when i did the front driver side frame rail in it. never did one before, and when do, the car still drove at least a mile straight-line!

you have to get a knee up to the front of the bottom seat, and puch the seat to the rear as you lift up. needs to be done on both sides. then, once that is out, there should be 2 7/16 bolts holding the lower section of the top to the body. remove them. then, push in on the seat as you lift up

right, good stuff, but man, the bonding sirfaces must be bare clean metal, or it does not hold up. holds like bondo if not done right!

i have taken a stock duster grille, and melted and cut my own pieces to work, then repainted and looked like new

i use limco i think it is call 200k or 800k. it is an epoxy primer/sealer. with hardener. it is like 100.00 a gallon with the hardner!

yea, i just went through it and mine did not look half as bad!. that thing is going to need to be replaced!. do yourself a favor and buy on that is cut out of another car. fit way better than a repop one. crackedback on here sells them, and it will not be garbage!. also, i am sure he can give...

yes, they can be pricey. i have just sold two on ebay in the last week. one sold for 1700.00 and the other sold for 1060.00 it is a crap shoot what they go for one day they go for big money, and the next, they go for half the price

yes, heating the rubber would be best. that is why i like to do any windsheilds or back glass in the summer time. in this cold, i do not know if you will be able to get the glass out without breaking either glass or seal. good luck

nah, the best mixing board is carboard. cheap and just throw away when done. get a huge box and cut it up into like 14x14 inch pieces, and mix on one side, then when you ready to mix more, just flip it over. when done, discard. also, do not mix alot more than you need. if you put too much...

cause if it is not mixed completly, it leave some of the bondo soft. and we do not want any softies.lol also, remember, the smoother and neater you put it on, the less work has to be done to keep a straight line

only tip is.....................mix it thoroughly!.lol
